For some time, I looked for a time management system that’s easy to implement and will help me do more without becoming a sleep-deprived zombie. Membership to the Social Security System (SSS) is mandated by law. If you are working in the Philippines, or even if you are an Overseas Filipino Worker, you need to be a member of the SSS. It’s easy to get a SSS number. Just visit the nearest branch and they’ll assist you with that.
Coverage for Employed and Self-employed Members
If you already have your Social security number, it does not automatically mean that you are already a member. If you are an employee, you will be considered as...

Use the Pomodoro Technique to Get More Done in 25-Minute Chunks
I came across the Pomodoro Technique back in November 2009. Pomodoro is the Italian word for tomato and there are several tomato kitchen timers. This is what inspired Francesca Pirillo in coming up with this productivity technique. It goes against the popular notion that multitasking can help you accomplish more things in a shorter period of time.
The Pomodoro technique is built upon the notion that you should do one thing and only one thing at a time. More specifically, you should only d...

The Big List of Rainy Day Songs for the Rainy Season
Back in pre-school, we used to sing “rain, rain go away. Come again another day. Little Suzie wants to play.”
These days, though, as much as you want the rain to go away, it just won’t. Instead, every morning (or afternoon), you keep singing “Pumapatak na naman ang ulan sa bubong ng bahay…” except you’re not at home though you seriously wish you were.

Provincial Buses from South Luzon to Stop at Alabang
Yuppies who are traveling from cities and municipalities from Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas into Manila may have additional travel time. Through this new rule, the LTFRB hopes to decongest traffic in Metro Manila and reduce the number of buses plying major thoroughfares.
The government implemented this move ahead of the construction of the Integrated Transport Syste...
