1938 Cadillac

From Michaal Moore: "Discovered at Valley Spring and Powder Coating, Dixon, Ca., while awaiting remedial work on rear springs to Tundra; a '38 [?] with La Salle grille, or, I dunno...looked original, but the internet doesn't come up with much in the way of an exact match.  The mounts for the road lights are exquisite castings, no?"-MSM

Jaguar XKE: Ready to Go

Sean has been working on the Jag for a while at Affordable Performance out on Naskeag Road. Just about done. Joan Baez drove one of these in the Sixties. Did you see the XK150 we caught in Santa Barbara last winter?

1975 Was A Big Year

Hard to park. From Daily Drive, a piece on the 5 biggest land yachts of a livin' large era.
Photographers (and DPs on location) used to love to hose those driveways to a gleam. Always one of the grip's most important tasks. I think we called them hosers, eh?

1964 Comet Caliente

From Alex Emond: "Muy,muy caliente ! Again, in Redcliff, Alberta outside some guy's garage we have this nimble car. It looks quick, has a nice stance. May I have this stance? I was not aware of this model of Mercury until I saw this unit. Cheers"--AE
FYI, Autoliterate posted a Comet that Chip Lord found on the streets of San Francisco. And we spotted one in Colorado Springs.

1969 Chevrolet Brookwood, Santa Barbara

Should never have sold that Chevy, but--no novel advance, no money, gas was expensive, it would have been a long drive from Calif. to Maine, car needed winter storage, no room in the barn. But never never never sell a good car. Hell, I like long drives. There would've been another barn.
