Stefano Vaj is an Italian essayist and scholar whose work focuses on posthumanism, biopolitics, identity politics and populism. He serves as National Secretary of the Italian Transhumanist Association and is a member of the cultural association Terra Insubre.

Vaj has published extensively in Italian and English, both in print and online. His works include Biopolitics: A Transhumanist Paradigm, Human Rights: Genealogy of a Moral, I sentieri della tecnica and Visto da altrove. His writings are distinguished by their unconventional perspectives on technological development, human identity and contemporary political thought.
