HIStory: Stay Away from Me (2017)

 I didn't mind HIStory: Stay Away from Me, but again, there are some holes in the plot: like for example, why Cheng Qing suddenly falls in love with Feng He? or maybe he fell in lust, that is a better explanation. Anyway, the story is not much in development, you save it because the actor playing Cheng Qing is cute, and the last scene is quite romantic. You can see it on Viki. Heat Level: 4/6.

HIStory: My Hero (2017)

 There are some holes in the plot in HIStory: My Hero that did not sit well with me: for example, how is it possible that Mai Ying Hsiung invites Ku Szu Jen on the same day of Lan Hsi's funeral to live together and he plays and jokes like nothing has happened? Even if he didn't love Lan Hsi (how everyone can understand from that initial scenes), he was having a relationship with her and she is just dead the day before! Anyway we will soon discover that Lan Hsi was not really important to Mai Ying Hsiung, and actually Ku Szu Jen has big chances to make Hsiung fall in love with him... since he already was. HEA. Ossan's Love Returns (2024)

 According to me Ossan's Love Returns is better than the first series. First of all, there are more intimate moments between Haruta Soichi and Maki Ryota; don't get me wrong, nothing sexual (they don't even kiss), but they talk and stay together, I think that every single episode see them together talking about love and life. It was good since I have always missed them as a couple. Then the setting is faboulous, very modern Japan, loved it. And then the introduction of the new couple, Izumi Kou and Rikudo Kikunosuke, was very nice, I actually found them as interesting as Haruta and Maki. Of course there is also Kurosawa Musashi and his unrequited love for Haruta, and yes, I don't think Haruta is insensible to him, not at all, Maki's jealousy is right on the spot. The plot is a little bit absurd, but that is the essence of this series. Didn't mind it. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala and Viki. Heat Level: 2/6.
