Boys Be Brave! (2024)

 Boys Be Brave! is a little cuter than how I'm used South Korean drama to be; cuter in the meaning that there is basically no remorse or bad omen on the fact these boys are gay. There are two couples, and the stories involving them are sweet. Maybe the cuteness is also due to the fact these are college students and that there is basically no adult character in this drama, they are all around 20 years old. Jung Ki Sub and Kim Jin Woo, the main couple, are roommates (this is actually the title of the webtoon this drama is based on), Jung Ki Sub has a secret crush on Kim Jin Woo, but has no intention to confess, so Kim Jin Woo wants to force him becoming his ideal type. On the difference of other South Korean drama, the first kiss is already at episode 3 out of 8, but the mood remains "innocent", just sweet kisses; that is not an issue, as I said these boys are quite honest with their feelings, and they interact a lot. Boys Be Brave! was, overall, a very nice drama, just good feelings and cuteness overload. HEA. You can see it on Viki. Heat Level: 2/6.
