Memorial Garden
In the spring, we planted a memorial garden for Josh. Most varieties we chose specifically for their attraction to butterflies and hummingbirds. However, one plant in particular, I consider to be the “showstopper” in the garden. The allure came initially from its majestic appearance, which is now undermined by the plant’s reputation. “The Angelica flower is often said to represent inspiration and encouragement.” This is a perfect specimen to honor Josh in his garden, as he was and always will be my inspiration and encouragement! The Angelica plant would be a perfect addition to anyone’s yard in remembrance of a loved one.

Staying Positive
So true! For me, the best way to continue living after the horrible loss of my son is to recognize and focus on the good things, through the sometimes overwhelmingly blatant bad things.
