At age 7 Robin came to America from England with his mother and younger brother. After graduating from high school, he got involved in auctioneering and then went to The University of Valley Forge. It was there where he met his sweetheart Cindy and the two of them married between his junior and senior years.

Robin, with his wife Cindy, has been in the ministry as a children's evangelist then pastor since the early 1980s. During that time they developed a number of children's stories which were told with visuals and puppets. Robin developed two of those stories into children's books. One is called "The Contest" and the other is called "Twas the Night of Christmas".
