Paperback!
"SLIM TO NONE" is now also available in Paperback! Amazon is carrying it as well as Createspace.
I've tried to keep the price as low as possible, to the exact point where I no longer have to pay to have it printed up!
I have to say I love the feeling of the book in my hand. It really is a little bit magical. It's pretty thick and heavy and it looks so damn pretty!!
I've also been busy writing the second book in the series. This one is called "HUNDRED TO ONE" and I love writing it!! Seb and Arlene are a little more difficult. A bit more emotionally closed off, and not so ready to jump in the deep end, but they will get there.....
And one more exciting bit of news!! I have the most exciting cover coming for the new book..... I'm having a hard time keeping it to myself. But it will be a stunner!!!

Crazy Week!
With release day behind us and the Blog Tour underway...it has been a bit of a whirlwind...and it is hard not to get swept up in the craziness of it all.
A decidedly odd experience to be on the other side of the fence for once. But I'm very pleased to be getting some positive response.... it's a motivator to keep trucking'. I probably would've anyway, simply because I really loved writing "Slim To None" and am enjoying the next book just as much, if not more... but it's good to know that maybe I'm not just doing it for me - but that there are at least some others out there enjoying the stories as well.
I'm pretty lucky.

And now we wait......
I hit publish a little while ago...... for B&N (Nook), iTunes, Kobo and Amazon. I have no idea how long it will take but we shall see. I'm not going to fret about it, it is out of my hands.
I apologize beforehand for any mistakes that might have remained in the final upload of my book. I take full responsibility for those. This self-publishing is quite a nerve-wrecking exercise, I must say. My editor has done a fantastic job on the book, but it was my responsibility to implement any and all corrections and changes. So all credit goes to her, and all complaints come to me!!
A cup of tea is in order I think..... :)

"Coming out?"
The object of her momentary slide into la la land was standing with the passenger side door open, waiting to help her out. Busted. She felt a blush creeping up her chest - of all places - and tried to turn around to get her walker from the back. Beating her to it, Gus had it pulled out of the truck bed and set up in front her before she managed to finish her turn. Okay then.
"You move on ahead, I'll be right behind you," Emma said, hoping to avoid having to feel self-conscious with him walking behind her.
"Why?" He asked, one side of his mouth lifting, "Wanna check out my ass?"
Stopped dead in her tracks, Emma just stared at him with her mouth hanging open. Then coughed out a laugh.
"You just said that. I can't believe you just actually said that!"
"Well, I was planning on walking behind you and checking out your ass, but if you insist, I guess I can let you check out mine just this once." Smiling broadly now, Gus turned on his heels and slowly made his way to the diner's entrance, leaving Emma shaking her head in amused disbelief.
"Cocky bastard." She mumbled. So she followed him, making sure to get a good look at his 'assets'; and mighty fine 'assets' indeed, she thought, as she slipped through the door he held open for her.
