To Each Her Own
Isn't it wonderful that God has made authors unique?
Some writers need long stretches of time to write, and some can write in short spurts, and some in between. Some can multitask, and some do better with single tasks.
Some prefer to write in the evenings, some in the mornings. Some can write anytime of the day.��
Some can write with a child sitting on his lap (David Baldacci said he did). Some write best standing up (Earnest Hemingway, Jeffery Deaver).
Some need to go away to a quiet place to write (EB White). Some can write in coffee shops, some cannot. Some need complete silence. Some can be interrupted all day long.
I think the main thing is to find what works for you, and be productive. In the end, to God be the glory!

Humble Reminder
"Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe" (I Corinthians 1:20-21 KJV).
That is to say, what sounds "foolish" to the world�����When we are weak, God is strong. One way God keeps us humble!
Creative people, authors included, can get a bit "proud" because we are oh so creative and oh so artistic and oh such wonderful writers.
This is why every book of mine is dedicated to only Jesus Christ. Whenever I write my books, I remind myself that it is to God only do I need to give an account for what I write and yes, not write.
