Merry Christmas!
Hi everyone
It's off to the beach for the Davidson family Christmas, and I can't wait for some sun, surf, and far too many yummy treats. Whether you are baking in the sun with an icy cocktail or curled up in front of a roaring fire with mulled wine, have a wonderful festive time with all your loved ones (two and four legged!)
Please stay safe on the roads - if you have been dancing til dawn or refilling your vodka bonnet, do let someone else drive the carriage!
Very best wishes,
Nicola

Looking ahead to 2016
Hi all
Just had a timely reader question over on my Facebook page that I thought I'd answer here also. 2015 has been a rather rollercoaster year for me, with a death in the family, some big health issues and a major change in dayjob, so writing has been put on the backburner a bit. However I'm really looking forward to 2016, and promise two more sizzling, suspenseful London Lords books will be releasing! I estimate Rake to Riches (George) for March/April and Something Scandalous (William) for August/September.
Watch this space... :)

All the delicious
I'm just planning my contribution towards the family Christmas feast, although pretty sure I will go with the long-time favourite - ice cream doused with chocolate sauce that sets hard, then decorated with a range of sweets and chopped strawberries.
Do you have a go-to dessert?

Kissing frenzy!
Across social media, the Historical Romance Network is celebrating the wonder of first kisses with the hashtag #akissintime. Check out some seriously swoony, sexy smooching!
Here is Stephen and Caroline's first kiss from To Love a Hellion:
It was the small, lazy, knowing smile playing about his lips that jolted her into action. Gritting her teeth, she lifted her free hand and cracked it sharply across his cheek.
For a moment he froze and she smiled inwardly at the return of normality, at control regained. But instead of letting her go, of stepping back and apologizing for touching her in a way he knew he shouldn’t, his eyes narrowed.
Then started glittering.
“Lord Westleigh,” she began, trying to sound firm or disdainful or something at least partially rational. But her voice came out more breathless than a dim-witted debutante, and his hand lifted to cup the back of her neck, effectively trapping her.
“Stephen,” he said roughly, and his mouth crashed onto hers.
Torn between wanting to cheer and sob like a baby, instead Caroline closed her eyes and surrendered to sensation. His lips were hard and hot, demanding, insisting on a response, and another of those embarrassing low whimpers escaped as she opened her mouth and welcomed the onslaught of his tongue. He wasn’t gentle, already her lips felt tender from the bruising force of his mouth and her neck ached from his punishing grip, yet nothing had ever felt so wonderful.
Yes, it was wrong. But oh, the pleasure in being wanted in such a brutal, immediate way. No trite phrases, no tentative or clumsy touches, no fear the other person might be smothered or overwhelmed, just raw desire. Perhaps one more minute. Surely a little longer within this harsh, heavenly whirlwind would be fine, and afterwards he could go on his way and she could go on hers, never to speak of it again.
