Thank you very much to Fox and Cee and Agape Editions!*** "This body makes me increasingly uncomfortable. The escalating scale. The fat with a watered down cavern inside. The loosening tissue with fish gills drying out.The hagfish orifices turning into fossils.I can handle my whitening hair, butsoon I won’t be able to swim very faraway from deterioration."the beginning of my poem, "Fish Sticks With Hot Flashes", which appears in this new issue

NEW! Short Poems of Violence and Chickens, a collaborative poetry chapbook by Juliet Cook and Darryl Shupe, is newly available from Blood Pudding Press!
NEW! Short Poems of Violence and Chickens by Juliet Cook and Darryl Shupe has now been newly added to the Blood Pudding Press shop!
The first new Blood Pudding Press poetry chapbook of 2022!
***
Juliet Cook and Darryl Shupe's poetic collaboration was unexpectedly inspired by Juliet having a hissy fit about Darryl's use of the word nasty to describe being drooled on by a sheep at a county fair, because she felt like nasty was an overused word. Instead of staying annoyed, she used his sentence to start a poem, which ended up resulting in 18 collaborative poems that fused nasty animal/human hybridization with other disturbing elements of existence. 15 of those poems are included within this collection.
Juliet is a stuck pig/circus peanut hybrid.
Darryl is a swearing carousel horse.
Both of them like goats, but Darryl does not like clucking chickens.
***
Buyers may choose between the HOT chicken cover OR the DUNK YOUR DIPPER! cover OR let the shop choose for you.

Here is a link to where this chapbook can be purchased from the Blood Pudding Press shop (if you would rather purchase it via Paypal, that is fine and dandy too. Just send $10 to Julietcoo@gmail.com via Paypal and include your cover preference and address).

My last photo of me before I turn 50
Me on Saturday October 16, 2022. One of the last photo(s) I took of myself before I turn(ed) 50. 😱 But I'm still 49 for a few more minutes and I'm still 49 in this photo. I certainly don't feel old and I'm certainly not saying 50 is old, but it feels pretty weird that's going to be my age in about 1 minute (and before this photo gets done downloading itself...yep, it just hit midnight)...
