The Barnes and Noble enterprise was ready to serve:
Ann Hoak’s entire staff smoothed the way for an easy and productive signing. Ann said, “You did well! Very well.” Well, WE did well, Ann. Here are some of the new LISTENER readers:
Friends, former neighbors, sisters (from Minnesota and California), Native spouses, and total strangers moved half the books B & N brought in.
Ann “stickered” five books I signed. They are up for grabs (“These go fast from the ‘local’ table,” she said). Great. Hey! Look who is hovering by the L. T.
