The Hunter's Curse

The Hunter's Curse to be published on it's own.The Hunter's Curse was a short story I did for the anthology Damsels in Distress (which it will remain in). It has been released for about a year now, and this short story is the first in a series of four shorts for my Ravana Moon series. The second being Iron Maiden. Recently Iron Maiden's cover was changed. Some may be asking why, and some may not care. Well, to be honest I had done a series of covers for the entire set, but felt bad that the cover designer with my publisher had worked the cover. Probably having forgot about me telling her I would rather use the set. So, I used her creation. It's a wonderful cover, but now that The Hunter's Curse will be released on it's own on July 10th, I wanted the set of covers to be cohesive. Summer Blues

"When you can't get out of your skin, get out of your mind."~S.L. PerrineI have my banana every morning with a cup of coffee. I take my prescribed medications for various ailments. Then I go for a walk, because I live at camp at this point so, why not?! Then, I sit in amusement at facebook and revel in how annoying it's become. I get a little notice on all my posts: reached or viewed, by 348. How many like? 3. That is so discouraging. I rarely get likes, or comments. When I do it's from those who interact with me on a regular. I have a review team who hardly posts reviews. I'm at that part of my depression phase right now that's telling me, 'no you should just stop now.'Another part of me, the more prominent part, is telling me there are hundreds of people interested in what happens next in all my series. And...if nobody is reading them now, they will read them later. So, I keep writing. Though, lately my writing has been me scrolling on facebook. Today I have the A/C on. I don't typically like it, but we are in a camper. It's a bit of a sweat locker when it gets in the 90's. However, I know my body is going to hurt like hell by mid-day. If I were alone I'd kill it. I'd go take my laptop and sit by the pool. I had a release this past Saturday. Didn't know did you? I haven't been doing release parties as much because nobody shows up to them. I went all out,for my first Ravana release. It was a fun time though, I decided not to do another for a while. I may do another party for my release in July for Tundra Witch.Speaking of Tundra Witch, I was also writing this to show you guys the cover. New Cover for Immortal Slumber

No, it's not for the book. This cover is for the Audible cover. Yes, that's right... Immortal Slumber is coming to ACX. The original artist who did the current book cover has become too expensive for me. So, I made this one myself. However, I have a hard time doing my own covers. Why would I have to? Because I am one of the cover artists for my publisher. Fortunately for me, my other cover designer was more than happy to help out. She created a cover for Book 2 and I love it to death. I think it's amazing. I'm also very thankful that Pretty AF Designswas able to incorporate a tough order. Getting, not just one, but all five coven members in the cover.Here you are. Witches of a different color...I like purple :)

I never realized how much I had to do at my home office. After work, I would come home and try to get these things completed and then write every night. I have been home, working on the same stuff for two full days and haven't even put a dent in the things I have to get caught up on. It's a good thing I'm focusing all my energy here now.I have a sale going on until sunday. I've already hit #6 for Blood Rites. It's my best seller. I now realize you guys are more interested in my witch series more than the rest, so guess where I'll be focusing my energies....on my witches. I suppose you'll like Ravana eventually. In the second book a bad-ass witch does show up. Not to mention in the third book a few characters from another series may also show up.I just hope nobody is disappointed in what I've put out. I'm doing all of this for you. My readers and fans. I'm so glad to be able to write full-time and give my books and characters the attention they deserve.Now, if I could just get caught up with the other stuff....lol~Happy Reading
