Limit Your Options And Get More Done
We often think that the more choices we have the better. That’s the whole idea behind bigger supermarkets and larger malls – more choices. But is that really what’s best for us?
For example, if you’re abridesmaid picking your dress can be a fairly daunting task, especially if the bride has told you to wear whatever you like. You know very well that she’d be unhappy if you really did wear whatever you like so you second guess every option. But if the bride narrows it...

Be More Productive While Driving to Work
In many of my post I advocate using your commute time on the train to get some of your work done. Which is great, if you live in the city like me, but I know many people who commute to work by car. I remember the days, I used to do it myself. I’d drive an hour each way back and forth to the city when I lived in the suburbs.
Here’s some ideas to get more done while you cruise:
Audio books– I love reading, but finding the time to sit down with a book can be difficult....

Umano App Reads to You On-The-Go
I’ve recently gotten into listening to a lot of podcasts on my commute because it’s just easier than reading something and then getting bumped into by a rude passenger, losing your spot, remembering where you are, re-reading that section and so on. A friend recommended I try Umano.
I downloaded the app earlier this week, and the first thing it lets you do is choose the kind of content you want to listen to. There’s a wide variety of channels including your typical news subjects sports, entert...

Grandma Knows Best (Productivity Tips That Stand The Test of Time)
The grandparent-grandchild relationship is wonderful and yet simple, they give you life advice and chocolate, in exchange you teach them how to use their cell phone. There’s a lot you can learn from your grandparents including how to be more constructive with your time.
Here are few ways being more like your grandma could help you save time and money:

Turn on the TV to Get More Done
Watching too much television can be bad for your productivity. I’ve come up with a few ways to avoid the blackhole of Netflix, but I’ve been caught out a few times.Let’s face it we’ve all had that moment where you’ve sat down to watch one episode, and before you know it hours have past and you still haven’t started that thing you where going to do. It’s normal to feel guilty about your binge, but you don’t have to anymore.
Think of your time spent watching as ‘research’ – there are plenty of p...

We’ve all been told that working harder is the obvious path to earning more. However a recent survey found that most millionaires believe that the four day work week is a ‘valid idea’. Who wouldn’t want Fridays off? I know I’d love that. But the key to securing your own four day week is not to endlessly pester your boss, but to get more done during those other four days.
Here are five tips to help you get all your work done by Friday.
1. Schedule important task...

When I was younger I loved going to school and my passionfor learning has never really left me. I’m always looking for new opportunities to find out more about a subject or research a new trend. Whenever I fill in Buzzfeed quizzes, I always end up with the bookworm or nerdpersonality type. I like to think of myself as curious but even still I’m a big fan of educat...

Checklist for Bringing the Suburbs to the City
I grew up in the suburbs so moving to the city was a bit of a culture shock for me. But now I love it and can’t see myself moving back any time soon. However, I really do miss some of the suburban life that you just can’t get in the city….until now! Similar to a staycation, I advocate using these tips to bring the suburbs to you:
Grow your own vegetables– My dad has a garden that is his pride and joy in the summer time. He grows tomatoes, kale, basil, peppers, zucchini...
