Abby's Summer Veggies

Summer vegetables are often so pretty you really don’t want to eat them. At the supermarket the other day, I bought the most delicious squash, onions, tomatoes and okra.  I'd seen a Facebook Friends posting of veggies and felt inspired.  With a menu coming together in my head, I purchased some cornbread, rice and pork chops.
I am a terrible cook so before I made it to the cashier I searched the internet and found simple recipes and added fresh corn to my menu.  Needless to say by following the recipes I was able to prepare an absolutely delicious meal of squash & smothered onion, okra & tomatoes, creamed fresh corn and baked to perfection pork chops.  I love summer Veggies.

Abby Loves Peachs

Peaches have been amazing this year. The taste, texture and smell have addicted me.  A few days ago I bought six peaches and devoured them before the evening was over.

Abby wants to go Sailing

I want to go sailing.  Forget that I am afraid of large bodies of water. I want to man the helm of a ship in all its majestic beauty as it sails across the ocean.  I want the wind to toss my tresses about as I sit and read. I want to close my eyes just to wonder when Moby Dick will whisk by and splash me with water. ~Abby~

I ate a whole chocolate cake and have no guilt.  Yep, there I said it. I have no guilt. I enjoyed every moment of it. The cake was super moist and o’ so delicious.  Would I do it again? HECK YES!  ~Abby~

Abby Loves Spaghetti!

Spaghetti always make things better.  Lately I have been overwhelmed with life. But the one shining moment in the mist of the storm has been a bowl of awesome spaghetti. I really love spaghetti covered in extra sauce.  Spaghetti, sauce and a great garlic bread make life so much better. Throw in a great bottle of wine and life gets even better.  Spaghetti mingled together with tomatoes, ground chuck and an awesome sauce is music for life.

Problems always go away when you set a bowl of great spaghetti in front of me. ~Abby~

Abby as Little Red Ridinghood!

If I could be in any fairytale there are many I would choose. But my favorite would be Little Red Riding hood. I would look forward to charming and taming the gentlemanly fox.
How cute would I be in my in my red dress and cape and he in his aristocratic uniform.

Abby: To the Manor Born

I always wanted to go on a fox hunt. Fox hunts when they appear in the movies seem so ritzy. "To the Manor born" is an express I have often heard associated with those who go on fox hunts. It’s one that I would love to have associated with me. To the Manor Born Abigail! How cute would I look dressed in my fox hunting attire. ~Abby~
