Jamie Interviewed by Shannon Muir FROM Infinite House of Books

What initially got you interested in writing?

How did you decide to make the move into being a published author?
This is a funny and weird little story. Some years ago, I moved from London to Sydney; it was an exciting adve...

BookJunkieReads interviewS Jamie Le Fay

Do you have a character that you have been working on for a long time that still isn't quite ready, but fills you with excitement to work on the story?
In the second book of the series, we will learn more about Sathian. The devil that haunts the nightmares of the Ahe’ey is a lot of fun to write. He’s as lost as he is wicked and mercurial. We’ll learn more about Gabriel’s carbon copy and discover his perverse influence over the lives of the four royal descents of Ahe’ey. It’d be easy to s...

She could not have done any better . . .

Jamie and Morgan are inspiring. To create this book needed such creativity and understanding of our world and problems. For Morgan to try to solve those problems, yes in a fantasy world, but also through inspiring the people who read about her and understand the intent....

Morgan Lua is not content to stand on the sidelines . . .
"This is a story about true love between a star-crossed pair: Morgan Lua, a human champion for female rights, and Gabriel, a supernatural prince from a hidden, mystical realm. The scenes switch perspective between familiar Earth and the ethereal land of the Ahe’ey; the distant past and modern day; and between major characters. Le Fay weaves a magical tale with complex characters, hidden histories, political intrigue, and desperate desires yearning for fulfillment. But this is no traditional f...

REFRESHINGLY MULTI-SIDED, WHILE ALSO MAINTAINING ITS CORE BELIEFS.

"AS A LIBERAL AND COMMITTED FEMINIST WHO IS INCREASINGLY FRUSTRATED BY THE SIMPLISTIC SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS OF MY OWN SIDE, AND THE BELIEF THAT ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS FOR A FEW SMART PEOPLE TO START A REVOLUTION, I FOUND “AHE’EY” TO BE REFRESHINGLY MULTI-SIDED, WHILE ALSO MAINTAINING ITS CORE BELIEFS." - E.P.
