Coming in December: THEY CAME FOR OUR EYES - a horror collection on KINDLE

Hello

My new horror and science fiction collection "THEY CAME FOR OUR EYES" is out very soon.  This collection is slightly different than my previous two, with stories pitched at the sweet spot where horror meets science fiction - inspired by the likes of John Carpenter and David Cronenberg.

Below is the cover art by the ever excellent Richard Ellis (@bookartguy) and I'll be posting up a Kindle link very soon.  (NB: There may be a Kobo version too if people want one. This book isn't in Kindle Select, so there won't be any free promotions or free loan versions on Kindle Unlimited)

KOBO VERSION NOW AVAILABLE - FICTION ON FOREIGN PLANETS

The KOBO version of "Fiction on Foreign Planets" is now available for KOBO folk out there (link below). It's 99p/ $1.49 same as the Kindle version.

I'm aiming to bring my other short collection onto KOBO next week - and as long as people are interested - will publish KOBO version of all my future books at the same time as the Kindle and other versions from now on.

Wattpad

While I'm writing on my novel "The Handover", a friend has suggested I try out Wattpad. I had to admit I hadn't heard of it, but took a look, curious at the idea of a 'facebook of readers'.

I've put a bit of micro fiction up and if people enjoy it, will put up some more stories.

I'll probably use Wattpad to put up samples of other material too. It seems like a vibrant place to experiment, so why not?

Good Writing, Bad Blogging

Been hard at work on my novel "The Handover" recently, hoping still to get it on Kindle for Christmas.  One of the downsides of being deep in the writing zone, is that you don't have a lot of time for blogging, twitter and doing promo for old books.

I've hopefully got a few short stories being published on various web magazines soon too - more on those as they are confirmed.

Back to the qwerty grindstone....

My (LAST!) free book giveaway

I've done a few free book giveaways over the last few months, mainly to learn how things work in e-publishing. It's been a useful experience, but I've now decided to publish my future upcoming books on different platforms (you'll still be able to get them on Kindle too).


I've also decided that authors undervalue their work if they give it away for free - even in exchange for promotions. So all my upcoming projects will be price in the normal way. My upcoming cold war thriller 'The Handover' will be £2.99 - which I think is fair price for a novel.


So, as a goodbye to the 'old' way of publishing I'm putting my two science fiction short story collection up for free on mon 29th September and tues 30th September. So grab them if you like. I hope you enjoy them and my future books.
