Valentine's Day

Back at work

I had a wonderful time at the NJRW conference last weekend. Made some new friends, met up with some old friends. Learn more about the craft of writing. All in all, a good time. I'm back on the revisions of book 4 and hope to have it resubmitted by the end of the month. In other words, by next week. Keep your fingers crossed that I've fixed all the problem areas.

Book 5 is started

Hey everyone! I finally knuckled down tonight and started book 5 in the Angel Haven series. I got chapter 1 written and over 1400 words. If I write a chapter a day, I should have the rough draft done by the beginning of Nov. Without spilling too much, this book has a hero who can't touch people, a heroine from another dimension, a new villain, and the return of an old nemesis of the Angels. Hey Peeps!
I know I said before I would try to do more posts, but I swear there aren't enough minutes in the day. I do have some news I'd like to share. The third book in the Angel Haven series, An Angel's Heart, finaled in the American Fiction Awards contest. This is very exciting as the news came when I was feeling uncertain about my writing. This was a great shot in the arm.

going to NJ in Oct

I've just registered for the New Jersey Romance Writers conference on Oct 18-21. It's held in Iselin, NJ at the Woodbridge Renaissance Hotel. I'll be selling and signing books at the book fair. If anyone will be in the area then, stop by the book fair and see me.

revising edits, editing revisions

The rough draft of book 4 of the Angel Haven series is finally completed. The title will be Angel in Shadow. I've done the first round of edits and am starting the second go round now. I hope to have this ready to be sent to my editor within the next couple of weeks. Keep checking in for more updates.

Book 4 update

I'm happy to report the rough draft of Angel Haven series book 4 is complete and I'm doing edits and revisions now. The title is Angel in Shadow. There's a little magic, but it won't be the focus. Science also figures into it, but is also not the main focus. I hope to have this book submitted within the next couple of weeks.

Start praying book 5 goes easier.

new box set available soon

Hello, peeps! It's certainly been awhile since my last post. I'm letting you all know that in two weeks, the new Dark Obsessions box set will be available for pre-order on Amazon. This is the first time I've been included in a box set and it's very exciting. I'm with some wonderful Wild Rose Press authors and the set looks amazing. You can check out the picture on my Angel Haven fb page. And I'm still fighting with book 4. Sigh!

i finally got it

I had an epiphany at 1:37 am. I figured out exactly what was wrong with book 4. I got up made some notes and wrote a first draft of the back cover blurb. I think I'm finally on the right track.
