Destined for Darkness - released 14th November
Whoa, I'm so very lucky to be having two books released within a few weeks of each other! I've been promoting Forever Lost so much lately, I feel as though I've been neglecting my wonderful Black Rose series!
So, here is it is, in case you've forgotten ;-)
Cate Rose, the omnipotent Dark Queen and ruler of Hell is torn. Her only brother, Devin Black, has betrayed her trust and gone behind her back in order to further his own supremacy on Earth. Not content with just being the powerful leader of their secretive dark order, the Crimson Brotherhood, Devin wants more and it seems he has gone to great lengths to try and obtain it.
While the young demon, and Cate’s eldest son’s fiancée Tilly, recovers from yet another near death experience, this time at her own omnipotent hands, Cate has an important decision to make.
But, which future will she choose to bestow on her brother?
Should Cate place her trust in the demon that has abused his position so treasonously? Or can she forgive his selfishness and give him the chance to atone by making the ultimate sacrifice? Allowing Devin his much-desired prize of an earthly throne will come at a price, but will Lucifer’s eldest son be ready to make the deal of a lifetime?
In this, the fourth instalment of the Black Rose series, you will learn more about the Crimson Brotherhood and its history, significance and the changes they will have to bring about in order to achieve the all important balance that each and every being atop the Hellish and Heavenly thrones are working hard to accomplish.

The diary is looking good!
Wow, I've been invited to go along to another signing event. How amazing! This one will be held at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, UK in March 2016.
Still a long way to go, but I'm really excited to have begun booking in for signing events and cannot wait to see how they all go :-)
I would've never believed I could've found such an amazing group of supportive authors via social media, ones that help promote one another and recognise each other's hard work along the way.
I'll post more info as time goes on, and in the meantime I've got a table at my local Christmas Fair to look forward to in a few weeks time. Not sure how many books I'll sell, but you never know!

A moment to look back
This writing journey has been amazing and I am so thankful for those quiet moments when I get to sit and make up stories in my head. There are times I wish for more time, more peace and quiet.
But, I know it's foolish. I want to take a moment to look back on one part of the last year when I had lots of quiet time, but that wasn't so hot. When I think back to how poorly I was this time last year I can't help but feel so very lucky.
I've never been hit by something as bad as the bronchitis that floored me for 4weeks last October, and never want to again! When every breath you takes is painful and you can taste the infection inside of you with each exhale, it is incredibly scary. I didn't want to eat, had no energy to move and no breath to talk. I was a zombie, and I'm so glad to have gotten past it and had a healthy year since then.
Sometimes we all should sit back and take stock of the good and bad, the trials and the triumphs.
I feel very lucky for all the good in my life xxx

Fans of my other books will know that while I do enjoy writing a good love-story, I absolutely have no such things as easy, happy romances where life is simple and lovers come together easily! Forever Lost is NO EXCEPTION! If you are looking for an easy read, this is not it! I will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions that will leave you begging for more, don't say I didn't warn you ;-)

Such a privilege!
I still can't believe that I'm going to be part of the amazing lineup of authors attending the Second City Signing event next July. I would love to meet any fans of my novels, so please stop by and say hello if you're planning on attending!
For now, I'm working hard to make sure I have plenty of options for you to buy on the day, because as well as all five of my Black Rose series novels I will have at least one or two of my contemporary romance books available too :-) x

In other news....
Hi everyone,
I have had a super crazy and very exciting day FILMING (yes you heard me right) an interview/mini documentary for Forces TV that should be airing in a couple of weeks :-)
I am so excited, this has been in the works for a few weeks now but I didn't want to announce it until I knew for sure that we were going ahead. I will put up the timings and links to the web page as and when I know the details, but for now I'm super excited to have been given the opportunity to tell my story about my life as an army wife and writer.
Many people think they know or can understand what it is like to be married into the forces life, but there are many sides and many different types of person that this world creates and while I'm not one for defining myself by what my husband does with his career, I am also affected by it tremendously. This piece is my story, my own independence from his career and the person I have become since finding that voice inside of me that wanted to tell these stories.
I hope you all take a few minutes to have a watch when the time comes, and I'll be forever grateful to the lovely people at Forces TV / BFBS who have taken the time to let me tell my story.
First thing's first though, I'm going to kick back and relax with a few drinks and a Chinese takeaway! Happy Friday everyone! x

A new fun site
I have got to tell you all about this fantastic new site I have been introduced to by a fellow author, Cassie Lewis.
This site lets readers put together the ideal cast for if their favourite books were ever turned into a movie or TV series :-) What a great idea, I've had loads of fun this afternoon putting in all of my top choices, and seeing them all listed together looks amazing, almost like its very own IMDB page!
You've gotta get in on this, not just for my books but for others too, great fun!

Thinking back over the year so far
I can honestly say that this year has so far been the most amazing experience. What started out as a little bit of writing for fun has turned into a journey I could never have imagined.
Every month my books are selling, being reviewed and enjoyed by the vast majority - I know full well that I will never please everybody :-) I cannot thank those giving my series a try enough, you owe me nothing and yet you're giving my stories your time and imagination, when you think about it that's an amazing gift you've given me, and I can never repay you other than to offer my heartfelt appreciation!
I'm also incredibly excited about some of the opportunities that have come my way recently, not just the book signing event in Birmingham next summer but also the possibility of a contract that will turn me from an indie author to a hybrid, and a very exciting appearance on a national TV channel that I am bursting to fill everybody in on but am currently keeping under wraps until things are finalised. Watch this space!
