Every soul on Earth, while in a human body, has a purpose…

“Every soul on Earth, while in a human body, has a purpose – sometimes more than one,” Elijah continued. “Once these objectives have been accomplished, the soul then leaves the human body on Earth. In your world, this departure is referred to as dying. In order for a soul to develop, the Creator has given it instruments to work with—the mind and the body, and a path on which to travel—the stages of a life cycle. Shortly after the moment of conception is when the soul enters the human body. During the body-forming stage, the soul adjusts itself to function within its bodily limitations. Later, after the baby enters into this fleshly matrix, when it is still physically dependent, the soul still carries a memory of previous life experiences and reaches out to other souls in the baby’s environment, laying the groundwork for its life ahead and establishing the course of its progress. This is a critical stage for the infant and, therefore, critical for the soul too. Just as the body is sensitive to neighboring hazards, so is the soul. The baby is still new to this dimension and can easily get hurt. Sometimes, the soul can experience trauma so intense that it gives up and leaves the body.

“The life journeys of humans are not random,” he said…

“The life journeys of humans are not random,” he said. His mouth hadn’t moved; his face was expressionless; his eyes were still shut.

“The goal of a life journey is to help build up a soul, to give it a path on which it can learn, grow, develop, and mature. A single physical lifetime is rarely enough time in which to achieve this; it may take several lifetimes. A soul usually has to go through a few life cycles before it can realize its true purpose.”

Elijah paused. I felt that he was challenging me, trying to discern my ability to take in and digest what he was saying.

I had felt Elijah’s presence, but he was nowhere to be seen…

I had felt Elijah’s presence, but he was nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden, I heard a familiar deep voice: “The mind is the controller, the body is the carrier, and the soul is the passenger. Throughout a life journey, the mind and soul are in constant communication. The life cycle is structured so that the soul is given the opportunity to influence the direction of the life journey at the beginning and at the end, more than at any other stage of the human life cycle.

For the soul to learn, develop, and make progress, it needs a mind and a body,” Elijah continued. “When the soul decides to go down to Earth, it picks the body and mind that fits its purpose and that best help it to accomplish its tasks for that life journey. So while the soul makes the decision about what type of body and mind it will evolve into, it is mostly the mind that controls the progress itself. It is the mind that mostly influences what the soul will learn.”

Nothing is just pure light or darkness; nothing is all good or all bad.

Walking with Elijah - The Fable of a Life Journey and a Fulfilled Soul

It can’t be that simple, I thought and opened my eyes. Nature had always seemed more complicated to me. I looked at Elijah. His eyes were shut and his face radiated immense glory; his hands lay peacefully on the flat white marble table top in front of him. In his presence the background always disappeared; he fills up the whole ...

A man should not search elsewhere for truth other than inside himself because the Creator is in Man’s own soul

Walking with Elijah - The Fable of a Life Journey and a Fulfilled Soul

…Then Elijah turned back to the beam of light, raised his hand again, and said: “In the third commandment, the Creator told Moses that Man’s soul is pure and means no harm.” Elijah paused; he was still pointing at the light with one hand and holding me firmly by the arm with his other hand. “No soul is evil; no ...

Again, Elijah paused and remained silent for a while. I looked around. Hilla was still at my side, but her eyes were shut while she processed Elijah’s teachings. Then Elijah continued. “As humans get older, the mind becomes more storage-like, in contrast to the emptiness of the receptacle at the baby stage. In later years, information for the soul to ...

“Are men and women different when it comes to souls?”

Walking with Elijah - The Fable of a Life Journey and a Fulfilled Soul

“Then how can a soul make sure it accomplishes its purpose?” I asked. “All human life cycles are similar,” said Elijah, “The soul and what it needs to accomplish are what makes the difference. For the soul to succeed, it has to maintain a connection with the angels and the Creator. This is what ties the soul to all the ...

“Through dreams,” replied Elijah. He leaned forward as if he was trying to get my full attention

Walking with Elijah - The Fable of a Life Journey and a Fulfilled Soul

“A soul does not relate to any physical age. A soul’s growth comes with accomplishments, but the soul needs a human mind and body in order to progress. That is why the Creator created life on Earth in the form of cycles. The cycles allow souls to develop, to progress in parallel to the physical body, from the time they ...
