noorunnahar:

“The red in your hair smells like rebellion”, I often hear people say. They have their own assumptions about this color being evil. A sign of danger dangling from the strands of hair of a girl. It’s ironic how a color can depict your personality in so many ways. It doesn’t bother me though; red is the sign of strength and the promise of being different. If people cannot handle the fact that you’re different just by a hair color, how would they handle you as a whole different person? — Red Hair by Noor Unahar (writing journal entry # 4)

In Ancient Greek we don’t say “I love you” we say “εἰ δὲ θανόντων περ καταλήθοντ’ εἰν Ἀΐδαο αὐτὰρ ἐγὼ καὶ κεῖθι φίλου μεμνήσομ' ἑταίρου.” which translates into “And though the dead forget the dead in the house of Hades, even there I shall still remember my beloved companion.” and I think that is beautiful.
