Rhythm of Us Blurb and Teaser

There are six weeks until Rhythm of Us goes live!!  I can't wait to share Xavier and Ben's story with you on September 8, 2015. Below is the blurb and the first official teaser.  I hope you enjoy!

Blurb:

Xavier Cruz has come home after touring with his band for eight years, a life his family and friends would never envy if they knew the truth. Haunted by past decisions, he’s lost himself and his music. Every day is a struggle to recapture them both and forgive the mistakes he’s made. Can Xavier push past his nightmares and hear the melodies all around him again? Ben St. Claire has thought about the charismatic Xavier Cruz for the past year, but the man who has come home isn’t the same man who left. Watching two of his friends fall madly in love and fight to be together leaves Ben’s heart yearning for his own special someone. But can he fight another man’s battles so they can live in harmony? Xavier feels things for Ben that he’s never felt before and it scares the hell out of him. How can he trust anyone else when he can’t trust himself?
Can Ben be the rock that he wants to be, or will he be the rock that causes Xavier to crumble?
Rhythm of Us is the second book in The Fated Heart Series. This book can be read as a standalone book, but has many characters that have been introduced in Chasing Mr. Wright.
**This book contains explicit sexual acts between two men. This book also contains situations that may be triggers for some readers.     I will roll out a new teaser every Tuesday leading up to release day. Thank you for all of the questions and interest on the release of this book. You all give me the warm and fuzzies and I love you! XOXO Aimee

Rhythm of Us

Hello everyone.  It's time to reveal the details for book 2 of the Fated Hearts Series.  Book 2 features the beautifully broken Xavier Cruz. I am shooting for a September 8th release date, but it's too soon to confirm that for sure.

First, I want to unveil his beautiful book cover created by Bioblossom Creative and then I will post a snippet of a conversation between Gram and Xavier that will reveal his love interest.

“Speaking of happy,” Gram said after she chewed a bite of pancake.“I heard that you left the bachelor party with Ben the other night.”             “Gram.” My voice held a warning that I did not want to go there with her, but when the hell had that ever stopped her?
“Xavier, I’m not blind. Ben St. Claire has a pair of cock sucking lips the likes I’ve never seen before. He has those chiseled cheekbones, square jaw, and that strong throat that you just know can work a man deep.” Ben St. Claire is everything Xavier has ever wanted but doesn't think he deserves. Ben thinks Xavier is the most beautiful man he's ever seen and wants nothing more than to take away the hurt and disillusionment he sees in his eyes, if only Xavier will let him get close enough to try. Hope you all enjoyed this tiny little hint of things to come. XOXO Aimee

Chasing Mr. Wright Chapter 1

Good morning and happy Friday to you all.  As promised, here is the entire first chapter of Chasing Mr. Wright.

One
Chase Rivers I've always told people to trust their gut. Go with their instincts. So why didn't I follow my own advice, you ask? I was lonely and horny.
I met Devon Bellows while tending bar at Bottoms Up. He was a great mix of sexy and sweet with a heapingside of flirty. My lonely heart revved up every time he came in. It took him months to talk me into going out with him, because I just had a niggling suspicion he was involved in a relationship. It wasn't anything obvious like a tan line on his ring finger; it was more subtle like the randomness of his visits to the bar, as if they coincided with his partner being out of town.
Don’t think I didn't share my observations with Devon, because I did. He was adamant that he wasn't in a relationship and his visits coincided with his traveling for work, not a phantom lover. So, I finally agreed to go on a date with him, even though I wasn't convinced.
Again, you ask why didn't I listen to my gut, follow my instincts? I already told you I was lonely and horny, and I was, but there's so much more to the story. Buckle your seatbelts, because it’s a bumpy ride.
I looked across the table at Devon Bellows, my eyes taking in every lovely feature of his face. He really was a very good looking man. I didn't normally find myself attracted to the preppy type, but there was something about Devon that got to me. Maybe it was his lively, pale blue eyes that shined when he smiled.
He brought me to a swank, new restaurant called Olivia's, where the wait staff treated us like royalty. The wine was amazing, the food was out of this world, but the company...not so great. He spent most of the evening on his cellphone and quite honestly I’d had enough. This was the guy who pursued me relentlessly for over four months, never wanting to accept "no" for an answer. I finally relented and agreed to go out with him and for what? To be ignored?
I removed my linen napkin from my lap and set it on the table beside my plate. I took one last sip of the delicious wine before I scooted my chair back and rose to my feet. That got his attention. I reached into my pant pocket and pulled out my wallet.
"What are you doing?" He asked while I started pulling enough bills out to cover my portion of the dinner.
"I'm going home."
"No," he said, reaching across the table to grab my hand. "I'm so sorry about all of the interruptions, Chase. I've been terribly neglectful. Please stay."
He looked sincere and contrite, but my gut told me to walk out the door and not look back. "Tell me one good reason why I should stay?"
"It's my birthday."
"Oh," I said, not expecting that answer. "I didn't know or I would have bought you a gift."
"You are my gift." This was said in a low, seductive voice. Those twinkling, devilish eyes did very funny things to my stomach. “All those interruptions were text messages and Facebook notifications from friends and family wishing me a happy birthday." Devon released my hand to turn off his phone. "I'm all yours now. No more interruptions. Please stay and have some dessert and coffee."
Those eyes. That voice. I caved.
Things got better, a lot better. We discussed favorite movies, music, and books. We had a lot in common and I started to have a really good time. Those blue eyes darkened and his voice lowered as the night wore on. He started touching my hand more often as we spoke, rubbed his leg against mine beneath the table. If we was trying to turn me on, it worked. Those simple gestures and his undivided attention caused me to adjust my dick beneath the table.
"Chase?"
"Hmmmm?"
"I want to take you home now. I want to unwrap the best birthday gift I've ever received."
Let's pause for a second so I can explain. *Deep sigh* You see, at this point in my life, I was convinced I was never going to be truly loved for myself. Guys could never see past my looks to the person beneath. They didn't want to keep me for the long haul. Nope, they just wanted to fuck me. Seriously! I attract every douche nozzle within a hundred mile radius. I could find perfect mates for my friends, but struck out each time I thought I had found "the one" for myself.
I was in the process of helping my best friend, Ava Mitchell, finalize her June wedding to a man I introduced her to last fall. I was feeling a little down and a whole lot vulnerable. I just wanted to throw that in there, because no matter what you're thinking at this point, I am in no way an easy lay.
"Let's get out of here," I told him.
He flagged down our waiter, tossed my bills back at me, and we were out that door in a flash. He pulled my body close while we waited for the valet driver to bring his car around. The heat rolling off his body helped to keep me warm on that cool March Saturday evening.
"I've wanted you for so long, Chase. I hope I don't embarrass myself once I'm finally inside you." A shiver rippled through his body, turning me on even more. He sank his teeth in my tender earlobe and slid his hand down the front of my slacks and cupped my package. "Oh my God, you're such a big boy."
Just then, the valet driver pulled around, saving me from embarrassing myself. Devon placed his hand at the small of my back and guided me to the car. He opened the door for me like a true gentlemen, scoring additional points in my book.
"You’re quite the gentlemen," I complimented him, as he climbed behind the wheel.
"Unless I'm in the bedroom. I leave my chivalry at the fucking bedroom door." His vulgar talkfueled my raging lust. It had been so long since I'd been manhandled and fucked. "The minute I looked into your chocolate brown eyes I was hooked, Chase. They pulled me in and wouldn't let me go. I haven't been able to get you out of my mind."

Once we pulled into traffic, Devon amped up his sensual assault. He placed his hands between my thighs and began rubbing my erection. The moans and whimpers coming out of his throat had my hips thrusting upward to meet his hands.
"How much further?" I asked.
"Not much," he said as he pulled up to a red light. As soon as the car stopped, he leaned over the console and smashed his lips against mine. The kiss should have been too brutal for a first kiss, but it was just what I wanted, no needed. His tongue slipped between my lips and dueled fiercely with mine until a car honked behind us, making us jump apart. "You make me forget myself," he teased as he switched his foot from the brake to the gas pedal.
Lucky for me, there were several more red lights before we got to his townhouse in the historic part of Foggy Bottom. He became more and more aggressive with each stop until I thought I might blow my load before I even got my clothes off.
"We're here," he said. He was so eager to get me inside and fuck me that he forgot to put the car in park before getting out. He laughed as he jumped back inside his luxury car, put the car in park and turned the engine off. "Look what you do to me." He leaned forward for another kiss, sliding his hands inside my jacket and untucking my dress shirt. "I can't wait to get to this hot body," he kissed me long and hard, our teeth bumped as we panted into each other's mouth. "Let's go inside," he said after abruptly ending the kiss. "Stay put."
I waited in my seat and watched as he walked around the front of the vehicle. The street lamps were bouncing light off of his hair almost giving him a halo effect. He turned and looked at me just then, and there was nothing angelic about the look in his eyes or the smile that split his face. I shivered hard as I waited for him to open my door.
He placed his hand on the small of my back, guiding me up the paved walk to the front porch. The hand shifted to cup my ass the last few steps until we were standing on his front porch.
"I'm going to fuck you so hard, Chase," he said naughtily while fitting his key inside the lock. "You'll be feeling me for days, baby." He opened the front door and pushed me inside. The house was pitch black, no lights on anywhere in the house. "First, I'm going to suck your big dick." Devon closed the front door and shoved me back against it, "I've been wondering what you taste like for months."
"Devon." I groaned his name as he nipped and sucked the tender flesh beneath my ear. I was complete putty in this man's hands.
He slid to his knees in front me and rubbed his nose along my erection. My hips jutted out automatically, causing him to laugh wickedly. "Oh, he wants me to suck him just as badly as I want to suck that big cock." Devon's hands began to unbuckle my belt and made quick work of my button and zipper. I threw my head back against the door, closing my eyes in ecstasy, as he placed his lips around the head of my engorged cock. I could feel his hot breath and moist tongue through my cotton briefs.
I tangled my hands in his hair and began to thrust against his mouth, seeking more and more pressure on that magic spot just below the crown of my dick. I'm pretty sure I chanted "more" over and over.
Two things happened that penetrated my lust-fogged brain. I became aware that a light had turned on in the house, even though my eyes were still squeezed shut. It's just something you instinctually know. That didn't stop me from dry-humping Devon's mouth, though. For all I knew his house lights were set on an automatic timer. No, it wasn't the lights that made me open my eyes. It was the sound of a man clearing his throat.
My eyes flew open. It took a few seconds for reality to pierce through my brain and even longer for my hips to quit thrusting against Devon's face. My eyes locked onto the man of my dreams. His eyes were the bluest I’d ever seen and were framed by nerdy, black glasses that pushed all my buttons. His face must have been sculpted by angels, for no mere mortals could have created a creature so beautiful.
His wide forehead, high cheekbones and square jaw gave him the appearance of a super hero. Add in the thick black hair, piercing blue eyes behind his black-framed glasses, and you have a real life Clark Kent. That luscious, firm mouth did weird things to my insides. Those sexy lips flattened into a straight line and those pale eyes narrowed to mere slits when they traveled down my body and saw the man at my feet.
Once his eyes freed me from his spell, I began to notice other things, such as the big “Happy Birthday” banner that was strung from the ceiling, oh and the dozens of people standing behind Clark with a myriad of horrified expressions on their face. Holy fuck!
“I can taste your arousal through your briefs, baby. You want me so bad.”
Devon was so lost in lust he has no idea he was being watched. I watched as Clark raised those pale blue eyes to mine and the fury I saw in their depths shamed me. I put my hands squarely on Devon’s shoulders and shoved him hard. He sprawled on the floor in front of me, shocked and confused.
“What the fuck, man?”
“Devon.” Clark’s deep voice was just as beautiful as the rest of him.
Devon leapt to his feet and spun around. His body jerked in shock at the sight before him. “Baby…oh God…I can explain.”
I didn’t stick around to hear his excuses. I pushed away from the door, opened it, and left.
I really hope enjoyed chapter one and are excited to read more. Chasing Mr. Wright is available for preorder on Amazon and will be released on May 5, 2015.  Thank you to those who have already ordered a copy. XOXOAimee
