New Books Coming!
Hello, lovelies!
Keep your eyes peeled in September and October for two new magical realism novels that will introduce my Light and Shadow series.
September – Ebony Rose
October – Light and Shadow: The Story of Luna Lake.
Just a little bit of background on these little gems…
Ebony Rose was actually the first novel I ever wrote from start to finish. Before this novel, I had started a bunch but never knew how to end them. So this one was really where it all began for me. It was the first of the fleet! That said, I have rewritten and reworked it a lot over the years to get to this final proof. I am very happy to be finally sharing this story with you. It was the first that gave me the idea of a magical element in South Coast and sparked the concept of having another that would balance it out, which brings me to…
Light and Shadow!
The Story of Luna Lake is another significant book of mine as it is one that sets up the events of my Light and Shadow series (which consists of four novels and a collection of stories). It is also unique as it is the only one of my novels which is referred to by characters in later books. The Light and Shadow series which follows on from Luna’s story were my favourite books to write. I hope to be able to share them with you soon.

Happy Thirtieth!
Hello, lovelies!
Mini milestone – I finished writing “Visionary” last night, which means I have officially written 30 novels!
Visionary follows the character Cassia Reid as she recovers from having eyes surgery and can suddenly see things that haven’t happened yet. This one was a fun story to write and also has some familiar faces from my Mistry Trilogy in it. Remember Sal Vincent? Yep, he’s a significant character in this one!

‘Twelve Lifetimes’ is finally complete!
Hello, lovelies!
Well, I finished writing Twelve Lifetimes! I always find it very strange when I finish writing a book, it’s kind of like leaving a concert and your ears are still ringing, the character sort of stays with me for a while before fading off. Everything feels a lot quieter in the world for a while.
Twelve Lifetimes is a story about fate, destiny, and finding your soulmate. But it’s not exactly ‘happily ever after’. Elizabeth tells her story stretching back centuries as she tries and tries again to find happiness, but will she? Is it really better to have loved and lost?
I guess you’ll have to wait and see…
