That’s amore: drawing Dragons Day 147
This dragon confuses me with its mustache/nostrils and curly eyebrows. It seems so insistent with its teeth and half-smile. But I think I’m falling for its pointy horns, and the way it is looking at me like I am a pizza. Honestly, I think this must be what true love looks like: genuine joy and half-beffudledness wrapped up in a feeling of marinara and cheese. That’s amore.

Pbtt: Drawing Dragons Day 142
I’ve been reading my newest book with Wonder. I wrote it for him. In fact, he told me to write it. He loved the part with the dinosaurs. He gets antsy when things get boring. So do I.
So much of me in him. Hopefully more of the good than the bad.
I drew today’s dragon from this reference, sticking out it’s tongue. Because that’s exactly what today needed.

Run: Drawing Dragons Day 140
Today, I did the Girls on the Run 5K with an amazing girl. While we ran and walked and jogged and danced, she told me stories. Explained books I should write. Gave me ideas for better magic systems.
How lucky am I to have the chance to run beside this little dragon?
Before the race, we sang THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE. That is all truth. She’s on fire, and I can’t wait to see what she creates.
