Visited a cemetery today three states away for my writing and came across the 23rd Psalm. Definitely a good reminder. Hopefully I can translate my feelings from this location onto the written page for my character; it’s not just the dead who need peace. (Wilmington, NC.)

I wrote this two years ago for my coming-of-age novel To Hear The Ocean Sigh, and only now do I realize its significance. The scene in question takes place today, June 4th, 2015. So here’s to hoping I got it right...
