Extract: Strip Teaser by Ava Manello

She gives me a look of warning as I leave the stage and head in her direction. Unlike the rest of the women on the front row, Sally’s the only one not trying to attract my attention and screaming at me to pick them. The look changes to one of resigned acceptance as I take her hand and she reluctantly follows me back to the stage.
There’s something about Sally that draws me to her. She’s real for a start, not like the plastic Barbie dolls that normally show up for our performances. Eric will be pissed that I’ve picked her; he wants us to go for the loud, raucous girls that add to our performance, not a quiet girl like Sally. As far as I know this is the first time she’s watched the performance from out front; she’s hidden backstage the other nights. Eric wanted her to experience the show the same way the audience do. Well now she’s going to get the full experience.
I guide her to the chair that’s front and center of the stage. She sits primly, knees drawn together. I make a show of taking off my grey silk tie, slowly. The audience goes wild for the tie. Eric says it reminds them of Christian Grey, not that I knew who he was before I choreographed this routine, but it always gets a reaction. I unbutton my white shirt, one button at a time, drawing it out and letting my shirt hang open. The audience screams at the sight of my barely revealed abs.
I ease the tie through my hands slowly, almost caressing it, before gently drawing it sensuously across her face. I cover her eyes with the tie, securing it loosely at the back of her head. Moving in front of her, my back to the audience, I pretend to thrust my groin into her face. At the same time I lower the shirt down my back, revealing my strong shoulders inch by inch. Once it’s off I ball it up, tossing it carelessly into the wings.
I turn to the audience, grinning and holding out the bottle of baby oil I just picked up. I make an elaborate show of the bottle and they scream in appreciation. I take one of Sally’s hands in mine. It fits perfectly. Turning her hand so it’s flat, palm up, I pour some of the oil into it, and then rub both her hands together. I move to stand in front of her, facing the audience, thrusting my groin at them. They scream. “Off. Off. Off.” They’re predictable after all. I take tiny steps backward until my legs are either side of Sally’s, and then slowly lower myself into her lap. The blindfold heightens her senses, she may not be able to see me but she can feel me. She still utters a little murmur of surprise as I hover just above her lap. I reach behind me for her hands, bringing them round the front of my chiseled abs, and slowly, oh so slowly, I use her hands to rub the baby oil onto my chest. The lights glisten on the oil, making my upper body appear even more toned. “Just imagine your hands are mine.” I whisper to her.
I do this performance nearly every night, I’ve had hundreds of women run their hands over me, but tonight something’s different. Shit. This is actually arousing me. Do I show her what she’s doing to me? I move her hands lower, slowly teasing the audience who encourage me with vulgar catcalls. “Get his cock out!” one girl screeches from the front row. Cowboy’s with me, but he’s been quiet the whole time. He’s still hurting over losing Cassie and I can’t blame him, it’s only been a few months. Satan may be dead, but it doesn’t stop the guilt we all feel that we weren’t quick enough to save her, nor smart enough to work out what was going on under our own roof.
I straighten up in my seat as I see the hallway light go out. I nudge Cowboy awake, motioning towards the house. It’s time.
I clench my fists as I watch Ted walk over to his car. The slimy piece of shit has been leading my sister on, no fucking way am I letting him off with that shit! My sister means everything to me. Ted is unlocking his car door, when my arm goes around his throat. My approach as always is silent. Deadly.
“What? Who? You can’t do this to me.” He starts to protest, struggling in my arms.
“Shut the fuck up. You’re going to walk over to that van, quiet as a mouse or I’ll start carving pieces of you off as we walk. Choice is yours.” I whisper the words harshly in his ear. As soon as he hears my voice he knows who I am. What I am. It’s enough to cause him to freeze in terror. Cowboy groans in disgust. I tense as I realize what Ted’s done. Shit! The bloody coward’s gone and wet himself. Not only is he a dick, he’s a fucking coward too.
“Please don’t kill me.” He whimpers. Yep. He’s a fucking pussy all right.
If I were him, I’d put up a fight. Stand my ground and be a man! Not whimper and beg. Men like him make me sick.
“I’m not going to kill you Ted.” I reassure him. Although it is really fucking tempting. “That would be far too quick and painless.” Ted whimpers some more so I tighten my hold around his neck. God I’d love to snap it! “I told you to be fucking quiet.” I command.
I practically have to drag Ted the few yards from his driveway to the van. Being careful not to let his piss stained trousers touch me. Cowboy’s ready and waiting for me, the sliding door open. He reaches into his back pocket, a move that causes Ted to start whimpering again. What a fucking wimp. What the fuck did my sister see in him? I’ll never understand it.
Cowboy withdraws some black cable ties from his pocket and uses them to secure Ted’s wrists behind him. He moves to his ankles, doing the same.
“For fuck’s sake Ted.” Cowboy complains. “You a little momma’s boy? You’ve gone and pissed yourself like one.” There’s disgust in Cowboy’s voice.
He pushes Ted face first into the back of the van. Ted is hampered by the ties but manages to crawl a little further in, allowing me to slide the door shut. Not that I’d care if I trapped anything anyway! Cowboy jumps in the passenger seat next to me and I start the van. Moving slowly at first with the headlights off, until I hit the end of the street. The less any busybody neighbors see around here the better.
I only drive for a few minutes before I hit the trail road I’m looking for. This abandoned shack is perfect for what I have planned for this evening. It’s far enough from the town that no one will hear Ted scream. And I intend to make him scream, a lot.
Cowboy and I came here earlier to set up. Everything we need is inside. Cowboy drags Ted from the rear of the van none too carefully. Because of the ties on his ankles he can’t walk. Thanks to wetting himself Cowboy refuses to throw him over his shoulder and carry him. Instead, he grabs him by the wrist ties and drags him along the rough dirt path. That must hurt, but to be fair, considering what I have planned for him, that’s nothing.
Ted’s eyes go wide when we enter the shack and he sees the chain hanging over the solid wooden beam. Cowboy quickly secures him to it as I lean against the wall, listening to Ted’s whimpering. It’s really getting on my fucking nerves. Cowboy moves out of the way as soon as he’s done and I grin. Ted’s hanging by his arms, his feet not quite able to touch the floor and take any of the weight.
I slowly walk up to him. When I’m standing so close that we’re practically nose to nose Ted’s breathing quickens. I’m taller than he is. It’s just something else in the long list of things I don’t like about him.
I see the look of absolute fear in his eyes and it gets me hard. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not fucking gay but hurting people that I hate, that deserve it, gets me worked up and Ted really deserves it for what he has done to my sister! My reputation precedes me. Ted may think he knows what’s coming tonight. Trust me, he hasn’t a clue. What he imagines and what I have planned are poles apart.
“You’re not going to die tonight Ted.” There’s a spark of hope in his eyes. A little hint of relief and I can’t allow that. “You’re going to wish you were dead though. So much so, that you will beg me to kill you.”

Eve
The long flight home would have been a hell of a lot worse if it hadn’t been for the woman sitting by my side. She’d initially taken one look at my tear stained face as I sat down beside her and left me alone. However, once we’d been in the air for a couple of hours, she decided I’d wallowed in my own misery long enough.
“I don’t want to interfere honey, but are you okay?” She has such a concerned look on her face that I can’t be rude and not answer her. Besides, I feel like I do need to talk to someone. The silence of holding it all in is driving me crazy, and I know my mum won’t want to hear about it when I get home. I don’t even think she’ll notice that I’m sad.
“Not really, it’s been a rough few weeks.” She gives me a sad smile, and I laugh brokenly at the insanity of recent events. “I almost got killed, met the man of my dreams, and now I’m going home without him.” Saying the words aloud releases a fresh bout of tears. I wipe at them and try to calm myself, but images of Gabe when I last saw him make me sad.
One hand reaches over to pat my back gently, while the other offers me a tissue which I gladly accept. I’m feeling a tiny bit better already. “Well, we’ve a long flight ahead of us, why don’t you tell me all about it? A problem shared is a problem halved.” She smiles over at me. “My name’s Elle, and I’m pleased to meet you.”
I turn to look at this kind stranger. She’s beautiful, looks a little older than me with long blonde tresses falling past her shoulders. If it hadn’t been for the ripped jeans and band t-shirt I’d have sworn she was a model. Hell maybe she is, she certainly looks the part. She also has one of those personalities that you seem to warm to, instantly. My gut tells me I can trust this woman, and this time I’m going to listen to it.
She spends the next couple of hours listening to my story after I introduce myself. Her face goes through a whole host of emotions, laughter, sadness and downright shock to horror. I guess looking back, it’s the kind of thing you see in the movies or read about in books. It just wasn’t supposed to happen in real life, but it did. I’m glad she doesn’t seem critical of the MC way of life either. I think I would have been if our roles were reversed. Instead, she just seems concerned for me.
“Do you love Gabe?” She queries. I take a deep breath before answering her.
“When I left I thought I did, but was scared that it was just lust for him. By the time I got to the airport I knew it was true, I do love him.” I hunt through my bag for my phone, it’s in flight mode so I flick through some of the pictures I took during my time in Australia. I want to remember my time there. I find a picture of me and Teresa with Pres and Gabe standing behind us and show Elle. Her eyes widen as she takes in the sexy men in the picture and I nod my head. I totally understand her reaction. All that hotness in tattoos and leather is eye wideningly orgasmic.
I’ve just put my phone away when Elle takes my hand in hers, gently patting it. “It’s not too late Eve. Go home, give your daughter the biggest and longest hug, then find a way to talk to your man and see if there’s anything there on his side.”
She’s right, I need to talk to Gabe to find out how he really feels. If this is all one sided then I need to buck up my ideas and stop pining, and if it isn’t , I need to work out what to do about it.
“Thanks Elle, I feel better for talking it through with you.” Whilst I still haven’t resolved my situation, at least now I have a better idea of what to do when I get home.
I realize I’ve been monopolizing the conversation for the last few hours and feel slightly guilty. “Enough about my troubles, why don’t you tell me all about you?” I’m not just being polite, I really do want to get to know Elle better.
Elle shares that she’s a freelance writer. Her current assignment is for an online travel magazine who are doing a feature on European holidays for singles. She’s coming to the UK for a couple of weeks and staying in London, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
“I don’t believe it! I live in York. Can we meet up and I’ll show you the sights.” I beg. It would be great to show my new friend around, and selfishly I hope it will make my return a little less lonely. Whilst I’m happy to be seeing Elizabeth again, there’s only so much two year old chatter you can stand before needing adult company. For some reason I felt an instant connection with Elle.
“That would be great.” Elle beams at me. Her beautiful smile lights up her whole face. “We’ll sort the dates out before we land, but for now tell me more about this Ink character, he sounds yummy.”
I have to laugh at her choice of words, I’m not sure yummy is a word I’d use to describe Ink. It’s the sort of word you use to talk about a fit mother in the nursery playground, not a hunk of tattooed hotness in an MC club.
I tell her about his very short, dark hair, his muscled, tattooed arms, the hint of tattoos on his back and chest I’d caught glimpses of, but mostly about his character. Ink was my friend from the beginning, he was there for me when others turned their backs. Just thinking about Ink brings a smile to my face. Even though we went through an awkward stage when I found out his true feelings for me, I was glad we cleared it up before I left.
“Holy hell,” Elle swoons, “you’ve got to set me up with an introduction when I fly home.” It will be good to have an opportunity to chat to Ink again, so I assure Elle I’ll do my best for her. Besides, Elle’s a freaking goddess, I’m sure Ink will be grateful for the introduction.
The rest of the flight passes with mindless chatter. We find we have a lot of things in common, from favourite authors to music. By the end of the flight it feels like we’ve known each other forever. It’s the kind of closeness I used to have with Teresa and I miss that in my life.
