Rina Foti was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1966. She earned a Bachelor degree in Education, specialising in Early Childhood Studies. Rina believes that early childhood is a crucial time for ‘planting the literacy seed’ so that children can develop a life-long love of language and literacy.

Rina is the author of 5 children’s books and her acclaimed works have received excellent reviews. Her work has been described as ‘delightful, inspiring’ and ‘fast paced!’ When she is not writing, Rina enjoys visiting schools and conducting Author Presentations, in the aim of inspiring young children.
