Thanks so much to everyone who entered the giveaway! I’m totally amazed that 580 people wanted a copy of my book. The five winners have been chosen by Goodreads and I will be sending out their copies soon. I hope to do another one soon, so if you weren’t one of the lucky ones this time, stay tuned.

In the meantime, things have been going great with the new project and I’ve been writing the chapters on New York City, “moving pictures”, and lost cities/lands (“Off the Map”). Once I’ve got some r...

Goodreads Q&A Group! Giveaway!

Hi everyone,

I’ve started a Q&A/discussion group for Neuroeconomics on Goodreads. It is an open group, so anyone who wants to ask questions about the book or discuss it with others is certainly welcome to join and participate! New project!

I’ve begun researching my next book! Its working title is “But Not Forgotten” and it will be a collection of essays about lost pieces of human culture– art, film, books, monuments, and so on, that have all been lost, misplaced, stolen, or destroyed.

That’s all for now, but I’ll be posting more as time goes on. :)

Ready for proofs!

Hey everybody,

The index has arrived, notes and references are done, it’s proofread and spell-checked and formatted, and that means Neuroeconomics: an Applied Information Theory is ready to have it’s first proof copy printed and checked over.

Just thought I’d post up this picture of the giant stack of all the drafts and incarnations it has gone through in the last year and a half alone, through the writing of the book all the way back to the drafts of the paper which was its precursor. A lot of...

Cheers everybody! :)
