Blood Burned: PULSE Book 3 – Early Release and Party!
Hi Everyone,
Hope you've had an awesome Halloween! While you've been trick or treating, I've been busy working with my publisher to push along the release date of book 3 for PULSE. Well…it's now possible, with everything in place.
For you loyal fans out there, here's a treat, without a trick (heard that one on my trick or treating two nights ago), PULSE book 3, Blood Burned will be available early!
This coming Monday, November 8, on Kindle on Amazon.com. Mark your calendars…I personally think Book 3 is better than the 1st two, as it has so much action and romance, and all the characters get equal spotlight.

Announcement – Casting for The Stoker Sisters Series
The Stoker Sisters Will Be in Production for a New Series
The Stoker Sisters short film was screened Summer 2010 at the 14th Annual LA Shorts Festival, officially accredited by The Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences (i.e. The Oscars).
This led to discussion of a quality series based on The Stoker Sisters books, to be filmed in 2011 in Southern California.
Casting Begins in November 2010
Actors will be screened in November to come in for an Audition in December with me and the casting director.
Filming will be in Southern California beginning January 2011
Currently Looking for All LEAD Roles.
Casting will be by the Casting Director for Thirteen, a teen film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who directed Twilight and starring Nikki Reed of Twilight and Rachel Evan Wood of Tru Blood.

The Stoker Sisters Series will be an action-packed, romance-filled teen series with vampires, hunters, angels, and humans, based on the critically-acclaimed book series of the same name. It will feature fight scenes choreographed and performed by MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighters and other world-class martial artists. The Stoker Sisters Series will feature original music from up-and-coming bands and artists.

Raising a Reader
For Halloween, my little preschooler dressed up as Cinderella last year and ended up at her favorite place toward the end of the night…the bookstore.
She loves to read, as I did growing up and as I still do. Now I write books. Of course the first step in becoming a writer is to be an avid reader. To encourage a lifelong passion for reading and books, it's important to model being a reader for your child. Children pick up a lot of habits from parents, and reading is one of them…so, if you want to raise a reader, you have to be a reader, too. Happy Halloween!

"Make Bullying Fiction" Speaking and Book Signing Tour
Hi Everyone!
I was invited to speak and hold book signings at some schools in California by schools and even by the PTA. The dates haven't been set yet, but before they do, I'm throwing out to the public – to you – to let me know where you'd like me to speak or book sign about this topic.
Because I'm Doing This to Help Teens and Young Adults, basically anyone who wants to help bring awareness to bullying and what can be done about it, I'm going to visit and speak at schools (if within a feasible distance) and if not, through chat, for FREE for the rest of 2010 and for the year 2011. I'm waiving speakers fees.
So…if you're at a school, and you'd like for me to speak and book sign at the school, let me know which school you are at, and if driving distance, we'll schedule it. If not, then we'll schedule a chat.
