BOOK CLUB Q: The Price of Freedom

The Thin Wall In my novel, The Thin Wall, a psychopath KGB officer terrorizes the people of a small village in 1968 Czechoslovakia.

For those who have read book, consider this question: What is your personal and political freedom worth?

Furthermore: Are you someone who would risk death or injury to stand up for yourself? Would you stand up for others? How would you have responded to the KGB colonel's harassment? Can you provide an example of the “price of freedom” paid by some of the characters in my book?

Thanks for reading and commenting on The Thin Wall!

BOOK CLUB Q: Who Is Fire Wolf?

Some Never Forget Nine years after his son went missing in Vietnam, Walter Greene manages to keep the painful memories of his boy alive, while refusing to accept the unproven claim that he was killed in action.

How does Fire Wolf, the delinquent teenager who arrives one day to help with odd jobs on Greene’s property, provide enlightenment? Is he a real person? Or an imaginary one? Could he be the spirit of Greene’s dead father who has come back to heal his pain? If so, is Fire Wolf a Kooshdakhaa, a dangerous and mythical Tlingit shape-shifting creature?
