Twenty-three year old Dimitri has to do what he is told—literally. Controlled by a paranormal bond, he is forced to use his wits to fulfill unlimited deadly wishes made by multimillionaire Karl Walker.
Dimitri has no idea how his family line became trapped in the genie bond. He just knows resisting has never ended well. When he meets Syd—assertive, sexy, intelligent Syd—he becomes determined to make her his own. Except Karl has ensured Dimitri can’t tell anyone about the bond, and Syd isn’t t...
One-Review Reviewers Are People, Too
For those not familiar with this topic, let me explain: Some people assume that reviewers with only one posted review on a site must be fake.
While I don’t disagree this isn’t ever the case, I have a few counter arguments:
Friends and family. This is the primary accusation, but I have to wonder why friends and family opinions don’t count in the big world of reviewing? Just because the author got to know this person during mini-golf team building day, that coworker’s thoughts are suddenly null a...

Discussion: The Value of Reviews
It’s funny that no matter how much you prepare, there will always be these tiny little details that didn’t make it into your world domination plans. The little gems you didn’t think about like:
How long, exactly, can I survive on coffee and tacos?
Do the sleep deprivation hallucinations actually have good ideas?
What did I do before I started this book thing?
My current question—and one I actually have an answer for (amazing, right?)—is concerning book reviews. I know a few things: don’t respond...

Dream by Jeremy Waters #bookworm #bookclub #99cent
Avery Dover produces both legal and illegal drugs, with his brain.
CORRD, a new branch of the government, in charge of the management of Orexin-A. Employs him to create one of them. A powerful medication that circumvents the very need for actual sleep.
The other, he makes under the nose of that very organization. “Dream” users experience instantaneous dreams, and is used for its effects of euphoria and relaxation.
What starts as a very small incident in Avery’s life, will end in a way that w...
Summoned Review by Monica Pulliam #bookreview #summoned #amreading
I’m sharing Summoned reviews until release day, March 28th, as they are posted on GoodReads. After that, I plan to drop off GoodReads anyway. Too much drama over there, in general, and some of the company I keep have been or currently are targeted by the infamous GoodReads bullies, so I figure my turn is inevitable. I’m good with that; I just don’t intend to waste energy on it.
Until release, though, I will continue to share the awesome things, such as Monica Pulliam’s review of Summoned.
