Intellectuals waive reality

The left keeps saying strong words and boots on the ground will mean more terrorists. But this is something that can be tested against the real world, and the reality appears to be extremely different.

The Case for Books in 2015

In 2015, I read a lot of booksand bought a lot more. Thats not a sustainable market plan.

Should we be pessimistic about good governance going into 2016?

As we head into the final year of President Obamas presidency, and a new election year, it may help to look into the past for guidance.

From Christmas Spectacular '09 at Essex Alliance Church, Essex Junction, VT. USA. Featuring the Celebration Choir and EAC Signing Team led by Candice Allembert. Possibly the most awe-inspiring version of I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day Ive ever seen. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I do wish people would include the despairing lyrics, though. Without them, the inspiring lyrics arent quite as inspiring.
