Equipping the Saints for Tribulation #01

The Christian is asked to follow in the footsteps of Christ, who endured great tribulation. All tribulation then must stand in the light of Christ Jesus who was ‘despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Smitten by God, and afflicted’ (Isaiah 53).
However, this important aspect of Christian doctrine is sorely missing in our churches today. The absence of this theology of suffering is to the detriment of the believer living in the end times. Without it they are left unarmed and powerless to stand in the face of tribulation.
For many, all suffering must be avoided at all costs and prayed away. Many churches today are responsible for creating a sugar coated gospel. But this version of the gospel bears little relation to what the Bible, Jesus and the early church taught. The Bible teaches that a true Christian will not only enjoy the power of Christ’s resurrection; they will also have to embrace a fellowship with his sufferings.

The light of truth is being beamed into the shadows of the captive mind. When that darkness is dispelled, people are not only awakened to the true state of our world and become better equipped to live in it, but for those who don’t have a faith become more open to believe in the gospel! Jesus said “I will lead you into ALL truth” (John 16:13) – that statement, we believe, extends beyond the boundary of Christian thought and doctrine, and encompasses truth in every aspect of life. The TRUTH, Jesus said “Sets us FREE!” (John 8:32)
That’s why the message of Trumpet Blast Warning is so vital in this hour. As a well-known bible scholar said; “We are living in the age of deception.”

Propaganda is at an all time high. A ferocious battle is being waged for the hearts and the minds of the people. The controlled mainstream media has left the masses–and for the most part, the Church–fumbling about in a darkened room, unable to see the truth that is staring them right in the face. This in itself is a fulfilment of end-time bible prophecy. The bible declares that in the end “he [the Antichrist/Antichrist system] deceived all the people who belong to this world.” (Revelation 13:14) In the meantime corporations and governments continue to lead the world headlong into increased tyranny and endless wars. These wars of course will inevitably lead our world into the greatest battle of all – Armageddon.
The good news is that we can confront the darkness! Through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, we can shine the light of truth into every corner of the earth! We can open the eyes of the blind! The work of Trumpet Blast Warning is doing just that! But we NEED YOUR PRAYERS TO DO IT!

That’s why today we are urgently asking you to STAND with us and PRAY!  As we shine the light of truth into the thick darkness that covers the earth (Isaiah 60:2–3) the Father of Lies (John 8:44) doesn’t like it. The battle then, often rages ever so fiercely against us, in all manner of guises.

Because of this, we are calling on all our brothers and sisters in Christ, and humbly asking them to consider taking a short moment, or longer, to STAND with us, and support us in prayer (Romans 15:30) as we shine the light of truth on a darkened world in this urgent hour. 

We ask you because we know that, as James writes, your prayers are powerful and effective! (James 5:16)

The divine release of heaven upon those who are hatefully accused

Have you ever been concerned about your reputation? Do you ever get preoccupied with what people have said about you? Jesus, being God, had the most perfect character among men. Yet when he was wrongfully accused he did not retaliate. He did not try to vindicate himself.Imagine that! If we had been in Jesus shoes wouldn't we have wanted to prove to our nay-sayers that we were innocent?! But never once did Jesus feel the need to do that! Never once did he feel threatened! Even when false testimony was made against him, he remained silently peaceful! Wouldn't that have been the perfect opportunity for him to proclaim who he was, and tell those accusers that actually, they were the ones in the wrong, they were the ones in error!?No, rather Jesus humbled himself, he became like a servant, he rendered himself of absolutely no reputation at all! He who was everything basically became nothing for us!Friends, by steadily fixing our gaze on Jesus Christ, we too can share in his humble and servant-like nature. So when people rise up to accuse and say unkind things about us, we like Christ will find no need to go on the offensive, but rather we will respond in our hearts by blessing those who curse us, and by praying for those who mistreat us. So now, rather than feel the crushing blows of accusation, we find ourselves in a unique position to pray with authority for those who are taken by hatred and evil! Not only that, but we can also stand tall, knowing that we who are insulted and persecuted because of Jesus sake are not accused after all! The truth is, as Jesus himself declared, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven...” (Matthew 5:11-12)

As it was NOT in the days of Noah

My initial excitement over the Hollywood movie Noah has quickly turned to sad disappointment. 
Without listing here all the movies glaring inconsistencies with the biblical account it should first be noted that Noah director Darren Aronofsky is on record as saying that he attempted to make “the least biblical biblical film ever made”. This might sound shocking to many Christians, but it should really come as no surprise. 

A well known bible scholar recently said that “We are living in the age of deception”. And really that is what the new Noah movie is all about. It is yet another device set to deceive the masses and the church in these last days. It is a sign of the end times.

One particular error in the movie should serve to show us that the director has gone far beyond poetic licence. Aronofsky has blatantly crafted a movie that is in direct opposition to the truth of God’s Word.

The biblical account records that fallen angels slept with human women and produced hybrid offspring (Gen 6). This displeased God greatly. But in Aronofsky’s Noah these fallen angels not only help Noah to build the ark, they eventually ascend into heaven! 

This is an outrageous reversal of the truth. The portrayal of evil as good. The bible tells us that these fallen angels are chained in darkness until the day of Judgement for their wicked deeds (Jude 1). They certainly did not assist the one righteous man found to be living on the earth in those times!

We can only wonder what motivated Aronofsky to make this change.

It should be noted that this same reversal is from where Luciferianism is derived. Simply put it is the belief that Lucifer (Satan) is God or a god. It is this kind of belief along with other unbiblical doctrines propagated through the mass media and such movies like Aronofsky’s Noah that will cause people to abandon the faith in the end times. This in turn will help aid the installation of the Antichrist into power when he arrives onto the political world stage, who will be seen as GOOD rather than what he actually is – EVIL.

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” 1 Timothy 4:1 

Friends, let us make no mistake. What is depicted in Aronofsky's Noah is not from the Spirit of God. This movie is not about the biblical Noah, and it is certainly NOT as it was in the days of Noah.

The bible has a stark warning for Aronofsky and others who tamper with the truth of God’s word to fit their own agenda.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness” Isaiah 5:20

I for one will not be offending God by spending my valuable time and money to watch this movie, and I pray that many others will follow suit too.

Seeing The Wood For The Trees

So here we are - the second of my 'signs of the end times' blogs. So far I'm on my intended target!
Today though, before I get started onto the signs I want to bring an all important perspective to this subject. Before we begin I feel the need to establish from the very beginning a vital foundational truth. You see no matter what the subject we can all to often become distracted from the central point. As the old idiom goes sometimes 'we can't see the wood for the trees'. In other words we've become so captivated by the minutiae that we've forgotten what's of central importance. 

I'm a graphic designer by profession, and I'm on the verge of purchasing a much needed and overdue new computer with the latest graphics software updates. Now I know that when that box arrives, and I set it up in my studio, I will no doubt become temporarily excited and captivated by its shiny outer and its super fast inner. But it's not about my new computer. No matter how cool it looks or how fast it can run. I didn't buy it to look at it. The point of the purchase is so I can get on with my design projects effectively and efficiently and earn an income! 

The signs of the end times is no different. Distraction is certainly an issue with this biblical topic.

What then is centrally important in all of this talk about the signs of the end times? 

Well the signs point to one of the most pivotal events to ever impact humanity. 

The signs point to the arrival, or the second arrival, of Jesus Christ to the earth.

The whole point about studying, understanding and bringing attention to the end time signs and their fulfillment in our day must certainly not be to excite or fascinate the senses. It's not supposed to be some kind of warped hobby or pastime whereby aficionados gather together in some kind of end times convention to discuss with zeal their latest theories, imaginations, or what they just heard that preacher say on YouTube. Sadly, and I believe dangerously, this has so often become the case. We are not seeing the wood for the trees.

So let's be clear here. What is the wood?

It is the person of Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the signs of the end times is ultimately to reveal to humanity that Jesus Christ is in the preparatory stages of revisiting the earth in power and glory.

So then the signs are not an end in themselves, they are pointers to show us as Jesus Christ said 'that summer is near'. (Matthew 24)

Why would God in his infinite wisdom warn us of this day through signs?

Firstly it's the way he's always done it. Remember Noah? He and his boat was the greatest sign to humanity that God was coming to deal with the world and its problems. Signs then are so people have time to prepare and get ready to meet God.

But secondly and all importantly God warns us through signs because of his great love for us. You see He wishes that no one should perish. But that we all should have a chance to come to Him in humble sorrow for the things we have said and done wrong (John 3:16). For example to seek God's forgiveness for being hateful and unkind, or for harbouring unforgiveness towards those who have hurt us, or from entertaining murderous thoughts or sexual lusts and imaginations, or from being selfish and jealous.

You see friends, it is these kinds of things that separate us from God. With these attitudes and problems of the heart we will not see Him no matter how much He loves us. We will not be ready. And when He comes to the earth and finds us not ready, then and tragically then, that will be it. It will be too late. We would have missed the boat so to speak, as those who missed the boat in the days of Noah. There will be no time to find peace with God. It will all happen too quickly. In an instant it will all be over.

For me one of the most tragic moments in the bible is the story of the ten wise and foolish virgins. (Matthew 25)

Tragic because they were all believers waiting for their Lord to return. Tragic because five went to meet with their Lord and five didn't make it. Tragic because these five who were left out eagerly wished to enter but they were unprepared, and therefore couldn't! They hurriedly asked for help from their friends - the five who were ready - but they couldn't help lest they too miss out. So while they frantically ran off to prepare themselves Jesus came and went. That was it. Too late. When they returned it was all over. Tragically they missed it. 
So dear friends, the signs are to point us in one direction and one direction only. It is not about the signs in and of themselves. The signs are about the person of Jesus Christ. The signs that are unfolding around us today with such eerie and pin-point accuracy show us one thing. Jesus is lovingly calling to us from heaven and declaring in a loud voice. "Get ready! Behold I am coming soon!"

As we look at the signs lets see the wood (Jesus) for the trees!

Breaking News! My First Ever Blog!

Ok so hear goes. Exciting. My first ever blog!



I've been wanting to write a blog for ages. The point? I want to compliment the message contained within the pages of my new end time prophecy book Trumpet Blast Warning.

I don't think each blog will be that long and I'm hoping them to be at least on a weekly basis. But don't hold me to that! So my blogs are going to be about the signs of the end times.

I will take a piece of current news or possibly an event that's happened within the last 100 years or so and look at that from a prophetic point of view.

 Ok that's me done for my first blog! See not too long!

Lets hope my next blog comes along within the following week!
