Do you think you'll ever revisit king city or do you feel it's been put to bed?

Maybe a short someday, but mostly I feel like it’s done & I wanna do some new stuff next.
Hey dood, your the reason I started reading comics and I have started drawing. Thanks for being so real and committed.
That is the nicest message- thanks!

I now kind of begin associating you with eggs, bacon, pancakes and sausages and breakfast foods in general, after you wrote about free breakfasts on your DA account like 2-3 years ago. But then again I always think of breakfast, even at 3 am. So it's proba
oh yeah yeah, That post (here) was a sentence by sentence rework of a post by Sean Gordon Murphy where he was writing about the importance of being treated correctly as a creator at a convention. It read a little self important to me, so I copied it & changed every sentence to be about getting free breakfasts at conventions. – I think Sean messaged me after like “what’s the problem” –it’s just jokes.
At first I thought you might’ve been talking about this food pyramid I made.

Also thanks for thinking of me as laidback– that is where I like to be.

Which of your things would you most like to see animated?
I tend to think of my comics as the final form of those ideas.
Awhile back me and Tessa Black came up with an idea for a show about a character that gets trapped in a building when it dies and goes to a planet sized building that’s an afterlife for buildings.

I don’t think it will ever get made, unless Tessa decides to do something with it.
but if anyone wants to see something I did animated- I worked on the Adventure time episode Jermaine (along with
Jesse Moynihan )– and I think my style comes through

Do you still listen to jazz for thinking and rap for inking?
This is from a comic about how I make comics from a million years ago.

How I work changes, I have a desk now, but it’s in the corner of my place mostly unused. I mostly draw on an 11 by 17 board leaned up against the edge of the table my computer is on. Or out at cafes

I listen to a lot of Miles Davis when I have to do thinking work - his Bitches Brew is reallly goood. I still listen to lots of rap (Em, Jadakiss, Pusha T, CiHi ) but audiobooks keep me stuck at drawing longer than anything. Rap is like pin up & cover music lately.
