Who's work out there, if you were asked to, would you want to join/help out with in a heartbeat? A kinda dream job I guess.
I feel like that’s a part of what I do, with Island and how much I bug the poor publisher at Image to look at artists who I’m excited about.
I got Appleseed Alpha recently and was thinking how fun it would be to tackle something from one of my heroes– Shirow or Moebius.
I felt like doing Adventure time and Empowered and then getting to work with Emma Rios and Fil Barlow (even though that was mostly just editorial ) was more than I could’ve hoped.
Sooo yeah, I like Hamlet Machine’s work a lot & Daniel Warren Johnson – I bet they would be a blast to work with. Or a Rick and Morty thing.
Maybe the best i can do is be inspired by work to make my own tho.
Did not realise you and Marian had split, I seen you call her your ex on COREdoor but my mind didn't make the connection to what ex implies. How was working on stuff like Arclight in light of that? Maybe Arclight was before all that. Maybe this is way too
Marian is amazing, We worked on the last issues of Arclight after breaking up. Here’s a light hearted comic I did about it at the time.
I think it hit me harder after I moved away from Vancouver. – I dunno, it’s a bummer but life moves on. I don’t think there’s a single artist who I’ve learned as much from as I have from Marian and it’s weird to not have her in my daily life anymore.

I haven't heard from Tessa lately. You know if she's working on anything cool?
We haven’t talked in awhile but I think she’s been working full time in animation. I hope she does more comics in the future tho.
