Great Day for WritingToday has been one of the most productive days for writing. I did not have to work today, which since it was a dreary day, kept me inside cooking, cleaning and doing laundry.
What else did I get to do today?
I had the time to work on "Wounded by Her" off and on all day. I completed two entire chapters, finished the Preface, added some words of wisdom to the front matter of the book, and have almost completed a third chapter. I cannot wait until my Beta Readers get a hold of this.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Bikeweek 2014 starts in Daytona tomorrow and runs for ten days. I will be busy at work during that time so I am not sure of accessibility for blogging but I will post some nice pics as soon as I can.

It's been a long busy week and I haven't been able to get...
It's been a long busy week and I haven't been able to get on the computer much. To show my sincerest apologies, an excerpt from "Wounded by Her"Friday night I walk into Ballin’ Sports Bar & Grill and come face to face with a ghost. My heart stops. For a split second I consider it an illusion or maybe I have a contact high from the drug house we raided earlier. It isn't until she speaks that I realize I'm not dreaming. Standing right here in front of me is my angel, my heart, my soul, my.....my everything. Jordan! She came back."Well hello there stranger." I say, apparently the drugs did have some sort of an effect on me because I have completely forgotten that I am picking up an order for three other guys, plus my own food. "Hello to you too. It's been a while." She greets me with a smile. "Are you here to have dinner or are you picking up an order to go?" "I'm...uh...picking up an order?" Damn, could I sound more prepubescent?

Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope everyone enjoy's today as much as I do.Not only is today Valentine's Day but it is also my husband's birthday so I will not be aroundmuch today or this evening as we have plentyto celebrate.
For those of you who are not celebrating Valentine's Day, try to snuggle up with a good book and enjoy.
The news this morning said that 49 of 50 states have snow on the ground. The one statethat does not is Florida. I am so glad I don't have to deal with all that crap but it is colder than normal here in "The Sunshine State.
I do miss the snow sometimes, I like to go snowboarding so I need to ask a favor.
I would love for everyone to comment on this blog with pictures of the snow in your town.

Today has been a very interesting day to say the least. I...
Today has been a very interesting day to say the least. I started the day out sending "Ashley" a copy of the first nine chapters of "Wounded by Her" for insights, grammatical, etc. I also finished the cover for "Wounded by Her" and will do a cover reveal soon.
Personal things: I washed my spoiled pit bulls blankets, pillows and bedding before giving her a much needed bath before heading back to work on book. I have to be at work at 5 tonight so I am trying to get as much done as possible before then.
Back to the Book: I happened to run across Sam Taylor Mullens Facebook post about pirated copies of her book "Hasty Resolution" and decided to check my own novel for illegal sites. Low and behold there were a few sites all which seem to be uploaded by the same person....It is nice to know that I keep the information on each and every ARC I sent "Scarred" to. Whoever is pirating my copies, know that I have your information and will work to press criminal charges for copyright infringement.
I would like to inform everyone that "Scarred" E-Book is only available on Amazon.com. Not on nook, not on Kobo, and not anywhere else. If you have purchased or downloaded "Scarred" from any other source it is a pirated copy.
Once I got the piracy thing figured out I made quite a few new connections on Facebook and would like to share one of them with you...
Author Sharon Wheater is an Indie Author as well and is exploring promotional ideas. She has a nice blog giving information on the things she is working on. Go check it out. Sharon and I are becoming fast friends and I look forward to working with her.

"I was completely taken by Jordan’s sad life occurrences, but her inability to give in. She is strong and only scarred in her own mind. To others, she is beautiful and full of life. We should all be a little more like Jordan when life gets in the way (minus the drinking, drugs and debauchery...lol).
Her character was deep and rich. The care you gave to the development of her was beautiful, and as though she was you (I don’t know if she is or not – you should be proud of that). I loved her spirit! I am hoping that Gavin turns out to be THE guy for her. He seems to care so deeply about her, and would hate for him to disappoint her too."
