For the Express Card slot on my MacBook Pro--so I can install and run Ubuntu 10.04 on a 32 GB SD Card. I'm using Parallels VM, already running Windows and Ubuntu 11.1, but the parallels tools don't install with the latest Ubuntu. Should work fine with 10.
I found some inexpensive unprimed canvas at Amazon and this is what I got. I guess I wasn't thinking it through. I wanted good sized canvas, but it's 63" tall by 3 yards. I had it shipped to work, thinking that that's the easiest. Now I'm going to have to explain myself to security on the way out.
Here's a quick sketch from the book I'm working on, a 90-meter supply ship with that cool x-bow shape all the new OSVs (Offshore Supply Vessels) are sporting. This is the opening scene, about five minutes of speed painting in Art Rage Studio Pro. I'm contemplating storyboarding the whole thing out, create the graphic version of the same story as I'm writing the prose version.
Here's a painting I'm working on called "Terraforming Takes Time" with a planetary researcher taking a reading break while the nanotech does its thing all around her. This is a big piece, 30 inches high.
