Not in complete agreement with this list, but very happy to see THE AMERICANS on it. Despite how much I loved TRUE DETECTIVE, THE AMERICANS was amazing—and I’m counting down the days to the season premiere in January.

Anniversary
I have the best wife ever. Have I said that before? Well, I'll say it again. I in no way deserve such a fantastic wife, partner, human-being extraordinaire in my life. I am so grateful she loves me, so grateful for a fantastic 13 years of marriage, so grateful to imagine more decades with her.

In the past year, I have had the opportunity to witness my amazing wife, whose birthday is today, overcome challenges and embrace opportunities and generally show me how valuable life is. After years of debilitating pain, we learned she had neuroendocrine cancer in the small intestine and lymph nodes. Surgery--a massive surgery with a long recovery time--has reversed the pain, has allowed again
