As of a couple hours ago, the long silent Dreamcast 2 project has made a long awaited peep-
to say “fuck it, nevermind”
“The project has been taken offline. This is due to a schism within the team caused by inefficient and amateurish conduct resulting in members being removed and others leaving the team. In light of such unprofessional behavior and an embarrassing lack of progress, seasoned members of the gaming industry have chosen to distance themselves from the project. Fucking fail. Sounds like a bunch of enthusiastic amateurs hoped Sega would pick up the ball, but when it came time to make a console…they just sat there for half a year until no one took them seriously anymore.
What a fucking crime. These graphic designers are like OOH LOOK YOUTUBE WE CAN CRAP OUT THESE HOAX Dreamcast prototypes and fool you- But wait, we could like really make these guys! Out of real material! OMG Kickstarter! In talks with Sega! …Crickets. Nothing done. More doodles made. Because another group of common graphic designers finds itself too crippled to do anything but the bare minimum, spin it around in slow mo, and then wait for someone else to pick it up and actually work on it, or fill its insides with real functioning tech- all while shamefully pretending to work on it. Fucking amateurs. Absolutely squandered opportunity. WE MADE A SHELL. Now we are…working on our own….novels and dance routines? Yes hello, Sega? You are interested IF we actually deliver the hardware! Quick, everyone, they’ve called our bluff! Just don’t move until Sega realizes that we are a bunch of amateur goof-fucks. Then they’ll have to do it all themselves last minute! That will certainly help the company (maintain it’s old curse and reputation) THEN WE CAN ANNOUNCE IT AND RELEASE IT ON THE SAME DAY!Ugh.
