about eleven months ago, Cerece Murphy invited me to write a...
about eleven months ago, Cerece Murphy invited me to write a short story for an anthology. catch: it has to involve a fairy. it had been a while since I’d written anything in that vein, but about five months ago, the dots connected and i’ve been working on #brandnewthings ever since.
i sent in the first draft last night, but it’s unfinished. i don’t know if they’ll accept it or not. when it is finished, i don’t know if i’ll be able to trim it to the word limit or not. what i do know is i love this little story with my whole heart. i love its tie to Rabbit. i love the way it makes me feel like dancing. i love the light it brought to the boy with the darkest eyes i’ve ever seen.
what i do know is that regardless of where it comes out, i love writing it and i’m so excited to share it with you guys.
