Yesterday, I found myself standing inside a supermarket, surrounded by empty shelves, as the speakers above me blasted 80’s upbeat pop songs.

I felt like I was in a parody of reality.

And then, I realized the carton of eggs I’d just put in my basket was the very last one.

These are weird and scary times.
