No matter how long it’s been, or how much has happened,...
It’s really easy to fall into a cycle of guilt and shame where you feel awful for all the misses chances and wasted time—BUT YOU CAN’T LIVE LIKE THAT. The past is the past and the only thing that matters right now is the present. You want to write a novel? It doesn’t matter how many times you tried before, you can always start again. And you should!No matter how long it’s been, or how much has happened, you can always start again.

“It’s always better to do a little, even if it’s less than you hoped, than to do nothing at all.”
Little steps, done consistently, will carry you across the world. Doing a little, even if it seems insignificant, is enough to make a change. Anything that you do, even if it is just one sentence or one WORD, will forever be superior than doing nothing.

You can spend a long time waiting for the “perfect” opportunity, but no such thing exists! Starting can be hard, but you have to remember that nothing is going to change—your dreams will never come true—unless you take the first step. It’s scary, but know that I believe in YOU.

“You are meant to write this book. Nobody else can write it. You must keep going.”
It can be sobering to remember that, unless you keep writing and finish this book, nobody is ever going to see it–nobody is ever going to get to know all these characters you’ve poured so much love into. You have to keep going! No matter how hard it may seem, I promise you it will be worth it in the end. ✌️
