Book Announcement 6: Pas De Deux
Announcement Number 6!!
My first ‘merge’ announcement.
I decided to write a sequel for Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies quite recently, an idea just came to me and the story of a 22 year old Max, and I couldn’t stop writing it. Then, the idea came to me, to merge the two books.
The words Pas De Deux means dance of two, which I thought fitted quite well with my idea, of putting the two books together.
So, when the story of 22-year old Max comes out, before it will be the story of 16-year old Max and his boyfriend Billy, in their last year at their dance school, then the story of Max and Cameron will be right behind it.
Don’t fear, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies will still be available to buy as it’s own book.

Book Announcement 5: The Gay Brigade
Book Announcement 5!!
Now, for my biggest series, The Gay Brigade. All covers (Callum and Noah, Ryan and Daniel and Darren and Luke) will be having an update/clean-up and will look sharper and have more of a finish to them, whilst also having the inside of the books edited to.
But, the orginial, Gay Brigade: 1 will be having a complete rebrand. The cover will be changed (As shown above), and also the story. The orginial Gay Brigade will not be available for sale very soon, and the NEW Gay Brigade, NEW story, NEW idea, NEW cover, will take it’s place.
Look out for the Gay Brigade updates!

How to Identify R.J. Wave 2
So, as most people know, I’m on a rebrand, rewrite, reinvent hiatus year. Apart of this month has been focused on ensuring Wave 2 is identifiable, and now, I think it is.
You will be able to identify R.J. Wave 2 books by their spines (well, in the paperback anyway.)
On each and every spine, there will be the sexuality flag (of the MC at least), and my initials.
On digital versions, it will be made known that the book is the rebrand, rewrote and reinvented version, and will also be copyrighted 2016 (or beyond.)
Keep an eye out for the first of Wave 2!

Book Annoucement 2; A Prince’s Tale
So, Book Announcement 2!
I was thrilled with the success of Prince’s Tale I when it first came out on Valentines Day 2015, I also planned to write many sequels, going all the way up to Prince’s Tale V!
But, as time has come on, and the idea of writing Prince’s Tale II began looming I discovered Matt and Eddie’s story is told, sure, there is future things, there’s their entire romantic life together to discover, but, that may be best left to the imagination of the readers.
So, as of Prince’s Tale rerelease (Date to be announced), it will be a solo book, a stand-alone (and with a slightly altered cover too!)

I think today…
I discovered I was older than Young Adult fiction. Now, this didn’t come as a BIG surprise, I mean, I AM 20, but, it sort of struck me. Whilst reading the blurbs of a few of the books in the YA section, I didn’t feel as riveted as I once would, of course, I’ve already read a fair few of the books available, and I was pleased to see LGBT YA fiction making their way onto the shelves.
But, something definitely stopped me from being a book today. It’s an odd sort of transition, as a few of my favourite authors write YA, hell, I’m writing an YA book now, but I’m looking for something older, something more relatable.
Now, this isn’t going to become another post about how necessary New Adult fiction is, as I know, I’ve wrote quite a few of them, but, really, I think that is the level of reading I currently am.
Of course, I must state, if I were to see an Asexual YA book for sale, I would jump on it, also if an YA books blurb blew me away, again, I’d buy it, but, I genuinely think, that I’ve outgrown YA.

Open the Book Design
Well, I told you all I had a big exciting announcement for early January, and well, it’s finally ready, so here it is.
Towards the end of 2015, I was beginning to feel a little lost, there was nothing really there for me, my new job wasn’t the most interesting thing in the world, and as everyone knows, I am taking a planned hiatus from my books, so I began to think about things I love doing, and I’ve always wanted to start my own business, so I did.
Open the Book Design is a cover design company for indie authors, Open the book is affordable, personal and effective. There is all kind of options for indie authors, and I, as an indie author myself of course know the importance of a great cover.
