Dutch Apple Pie Recipe + GIVEAWAY
This holiday weekend I bring you DUTCH APPLE PIE. Nothing is more American than apple pie. I love this recipe it has been in my family for years. Have a Happy Holiday!!
Dutch Apple Pie:
For the crust:
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
teaspoon salt
cup chilled shortening, (I used Crisco brand)
3-6 Tablespoons ice cold water
In a large mixing bowl, mix flour and salt.
Place shortening in bowl, using a pastry blender, in an up and down motion mix until it looks like pea sized crumbs.

Can you believe it’s been 15 years since Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone movie came out? I love the fact that JK Rowling had kids of all ages reading. It’s so important for children to read. Did you catch the new USA television series QUEEN OF THE SOUTH? If you did then you realize why we have Jon-Michael Ecker as today’s hottie. If you haven’t seen the show yet I think its worth a try. This show even though on USA is very sexy and violent. Definitely not a movie you want kids in the room for. The movie is based on a book by Arturo Perez-Reverte.
