Whose got a quick Coffee Break blog post idea? How about fave #writer quotes?
Here’s a quick Coffee Break Blogs idea for you. You can copy and paste any of the information below to use in your own posts.
Quotes have always been a source of inspiration for me. Whenever my muse flees a good swift kick in the pants from some long dead prolific author will get me going. Why not let your fans/followers/readers know what keeps you getting those words on the page (especially if they’re begging you to write faster so they can read your next book!)
Blog Title: (Name of author) is kicking my writing into gear today! #amwriting
Blog post content:
My muse seemed to have fled the scene recently so I went in search of some inspiration. Now my fingers are flying over the keyboard trying to get my current WIP – (Working Title) finished.
Add Media: Use PicMonkey or your other favorite picture editing software to slap some text onto an inspirational picture. Then paste it anywhere in the blog post. It’s okay to have a few quotes and pictures to set the mood.
Question: I love hearing from my readers, so tell me, what are some of your favorite quotes? Any suggestions for more inspiration for (Working Title)?
Follow up blog: When you get a few responses to your post you can do a follow up post, just like this one, but thank the fan/follower for some new inspirational quotes.

Ack! I don’t have hours to write blog posts. Ideas for short posts, anyone? #CoffeeBreakBlogs

Blogging is a great primary platform for a lot of writers, but it can literally take hours to write a post, get the pictures, make sure the content is just right and then get it up and running. I certainly don’t have time to do that for each blog post. But we want to make sure we have new content so what’s a writer who blogs to do?
A Coffee Break Blog!
This is the first in a long line of ideas for quick, five-minute blog ideas. Should you use these every time you blog? No. But every once in a while? Sure.
Here’s the first Coffee Break Blogs idea for you. You can copy and paste any of the information below to use in your own posts.
Lots of writers are inspired by music when they write. Or they are just trying to drown out the sounds of family begging for dinner when they just have 1000 more words to write to make their daily word count goal. Why not let your fans/followers/readers know what you’re listening to.
Blog Title: (Name of Song/Band) is my jam for this book! #amwriting
Blog post content:
My fingers are flying over the keyboard trying to get my current WIP – (Working Title) finished. Luckily, I’ve got some great tunes to inspire those words to get out of my head and onto the page.
Here’s what I’m listening to today.
Add Media: Put in a YouTube Video, Spotify Playlist, etc.
Question: I love hearing from my readers, so tell me, what song has got you obsessed these days? Any suggestions for more inspiration for (Working Title)?
Follow up blog: When you get a few responses to your post you can do a follow up post, just like this one, but thank the fan/follower for some new inspirational writing music.

Announcing the launch of Coffee Break Publishing
There is a lot to the business of being a writer besides just getting words on the page. We have to think about everything from improving our craft to taxes to building a platform. And for the most part authors have to learn these skills on their own. Sure you can take classes on creative writing, but there is not degree program out there on how to be a successful author. It’s the school of hard knocks for must of us.
Where do you find resources for learning the business of being a writer?
Google. (Isn’t that how we find everything these days? – What in the world did people do before the internet?) But as a writer, we are readers too and we all know that we can gain comfort, enjoyment, and knowledge from books. But where can an author find How-to books about the business of being and author without spending hours searching the internet and Amazon?
Announcing Coffee Break Publishing!
Diane Whiddon and I have teamed up to teach, consult and write books to help authors be successful entrepreneurs.
The aim of Coffee Break Publishing is to create and release books on the business of being an author that will help writers succeed at entrepreneurship and still have time to write.
Our first books will be on topics that so many authors have chronic fears of: Social Media and Author Websites.
In the future we plan to release Coffee Break Guides on:
Specific social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter
Blogging
Business plans
Book Marketing
Newletters
Self-Publishing
and Passive Income streams
If you have more ideas on guides you’d like to see from Coffee Break Publishing let us know via the contact page. In the meantime check back on the website every month to see what our newest titles are to help you succeed.
