Vaping - It's all about LOVE

What does vaping have to do with romance?  It's all about love!  Love for your fellow human being, love to help a person kick the habit of smoking so they are able to live and share memories with their family and friends, and love from me to you because I suffered from smoking and I never want to see another person suffer that way again!  This is the best gift you can offer any smoker that you love, the gift of truth and the tools they need to kick the habit that is killing them and helping them switch to a healthier alternative.

The FDA has tied the hands of local vape businesses and they can no longer tell you that vaping is 95% safer than smoking combustible cigarettes, but I'm not a vaping business therefore I can!  I can tell you that in 2015 I was diagnosed with COPD and my lung capacity was 68% after smoking 30 years and destroying my lungs.  I can tell you that I could barely walk to my front door without giving out of breath, or speak a few words without coughing my head off, and even lost my singing voice.  Add to that being diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis at least twice a year for five years, and I was going to die from this horrible addiction of smoking!

I left the hospital after being admitted for shortness of breath and elevated blood pressure three days later with that diagnosis of COPD, and drove straight to my local vape shop.  The same place I'd turned my nose up at thinking people were crazy to try puffing on some electronic device that blew out clouds.  I haven't touched a cigarette since that day.  I can tell you also, that in June of 2017 I had another pulmonary function test done and my lung capacity was 96% after exclusively turning to vaping.  I want you to think about that for a minute.  All these negatives you see about vaping?  How is it that my lung capacity went from 68% to 96% after I started vaping?  The answer is pretty simple.  Vaping WORKS and they are spreading lies about the benefits of vaping vs smoking.

Those are my REAL results, so I'm very curious about how these anti-vaping people continuously come out with lies and don't explain the positive results that people like me have found.  Why isn't every health official in the USA looking at these numbers, not just mine but the THOUSANDS of other people like me, who are leading normal lives again after turning to vaping?  There is a story there somewhere but you can bet it has nothing to do with protecting public health.  I won't get into all the conspiracy theories about why the FDA and the American Medical Association are creating a witch hunt to end vaping, I'll just say that vaping saved my life and they are KILLING people by not supporting this life-saving technology.

Don't wait until you, or a loved one are diagnosed with COPD to try vaping as a alternative to smoking.  I have the proof to back up my health claims, ask the opposers what REAL proof they have.  What you'll get is a bed of lies that can be researched by any intelligent person and found to be completely fabricated.  That's the truth they don't want you to have.  They will spend millions of dollars to destroy vaping because you smoking makes them tons of money.  Always follow the money trail folks.  Thanks for joining us at Tears of Crimson. Aden Lowe's Twelve Days of Christmas

She was only supposed to be a Target—not become my everything.
Trick:
I'm an Unwanted Soldier—an elite group of former soldiers which takes missions no one can complete, no matter the amount of money offered. I handle specific targets—the impossible ones.

Coming home from a mission in the desert, all I want is sleep. A visitor derails that plan with a file and a new mission: rescue Lauren Johnson from the abusive Presidential Candidate/US Senator Jared Richardson.

Lauren's gray eyes got to me, left me powerless to turn it down. I only take the most remote and dangerous jobs. This one might have the biggest stakes of all—my heart.

Lauren:
I could be the next First Lady! But as the campaign heats up, my fiancé, US Senator Jared Richardson, is under more stress, and he lashes out at me. His staff looks the other way. I can't just leave. My face is everywhere. My family and friends have all been pushed away. And Jared won't let me go, even if I no longer want this.

My new bodyguard, Trick, protected me from Jared, despite the danger to himself from Jared's henchmen. I'm not certain why he's on my side, but he's the only one I have, and I trust him. He helps me remember how things are supposed to be, and what I want from life. He makes me want so much more. If he's willing to take these risks, surely I can have the courage to leave Jared and move on. If only Trick will move on with me…

Until Malcolm Knight set his eyes upon the curvy cherub of a Christmas elf in his department store’s Santa’s Village, Christmas meant nothing to him except what it did for the bottom line.  Now, his inner Scrooge is melting away.  Replaced by thoughts of her sugar-plums and if they taste as good as they look.

Penny Evergreen lives for Christmas.  When her parents jet off for the holidays, sending her all alone to New York for a month-long training to relieve the piano prodigy of her paralyzing stage fright, she takes one look at the elaborate Christmas Village at the prestigious Knight & Knight department store, and she hatches a holiday plan of her own.

Will these two star-crossed opposites attract?  Or will their deceptions be the end of this holiday fairy tale before it has a chance to take off?

New AP Cover Reveal.jpg

Once a Disciple, forever a Disciple.

the Disciples' president is finally tasting freedom again.
Stone knows there's only one thing that might ever be as sweet,
but she's too young, too perfect, too untouchable for a man like him.

A Disciple will fight like a savage to protect what matters.

Evie's life is pretty much blowing up in her face
until Stone finds her broken down on the side of the road.
Now if only she could get him to stop being the martyr
and give them a shot at what she knows they both want.

It's high time this biker got the chance to let go and just cruise.

Coming January 11th

Drew Elyse spends her days trying to convince the world that she is, in fact, a Disney Princess, and her nights writing tear-jerking and smutty romance novels. Her debut novel, Dissonance, released in August of 2014.

When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found over-analyzing every line of a book, binge watching a series on Netflix, doing strange vocal warm ups before singing a variety of music styles, or screaming at the TV during a Chicago Blackhawks game.

Release Day Blitz - Jingle My Balls by Jordan Marie

Amazon

My firm has been hired to make sure Holly gets her biggest Christmas wish.
The rules are simple:

Seduction and fantasy, and absolutely no sex.

But, the moment I get a look at the delicious redhead all rules go out the window faster than Santa’s sleigh on Christmas night.

I shouldn’t touch her, but it is the season of giving, after all.

And I really want to give Holly a night we both will never forget.

The problem is, once she wraps that sweet little tongue on my candy cane,

I want much more than just one night.

Warning: Welcome to Jenika and Jordan’s Hot-Bite Christmas where the packages are big, the stockings are definitely hung, and snow isn’t the only thing that gets plowed. We’ve decided you’ve been good this year, so pull up a chair and enjoy a quick, dirty little cup of Christmas Cheer.

Holly

If I hear one more Christmas carol, I’m going to hurl. That’s it. I hate this time of year. It’s cold, it’s miserable, and people are just plain rude. I tried Christmas shopping today—I really did. Fifteen minutes in the store with holiday music playing in the background, people pushing and shoving, getting mowed down by shopping carts, and I was done.

Which is why I’m limping on the sidewalk, with not one shopping bag to show for my trouble. Some woman inside the department store ran into me with her cart. She didn’t apologize; she just huffed, like I was the one who caused the accident.

I find a bench close to the park and sit down to inspect the damage. I bend down to look at the back of my leg and wince at what I see. My stocking is torn and there are these gigantic runs in the nylon going up my leg. The heel of my foot is bloody and has been ripped open at the exact spot the back of my Jimmy Choos slide against. My favorite pair of heels didn’t exactly escape hell either. They’re scuffed and have serious damage. If I had it to do over I wouldn’t have walked away. I would have given that lady a dirty look and thrown my shoe at her before giving her the finger.

“Looks like you’ve been trampled by Santa’s reindeers,” a deep voice says to my right. I turn and look at him and everything in me stills. Chills run down my back and the voice seems to vibrate in the very center of me, sending instant awareness through me and making my body hum with need. Which is unusual for two reasons. One, I’ve been on a break from relationships and men in general for the last five years. My last breakup was not good—so not good that the thought of trusting another male scares the hell out of me. The last and most obvious reason is the one that takes precedence, however. I don’t know this man. I don’t know him at all and worse… He’s wearing a Santa outfit.

Great, I’ve reeled in a nut job.

“Do I know you?” I sound like a cranky old bitch right now, but I’m not in the mood for some guy dressed up to try and get me in the holiday spirit, not matter how good looking he is.

“I’m Santa, can’t you tell?” he says, drolly.

I rest my back against the bench and look at the stranger, feeling my eyebrows lift up in sarcastic disbelief. Yeah, he’s wearing a Santa suit, a cheesy red one that looks like it’s made out of crushed velvet and that’s trimmed in white fake fur. I suppose that’s not strange; ‘tis the season and all that. What doesn’t fit the part, however, is when he yanks off the beard and hat and pulls off the white gloves, I can see that his large, masculine hands are covered in ink.

I draw my attention back to his face. Now that the fake beard is gone I see he’s sporting a black beard with a bit of gray sprinkled in. Dark, almost obsidian eyes stare down at me. They look intense, mocking and yet at the same time somehow bored with life. He pulls out a cigarette and then lights it, cupping his hand against the cool New York wind.

“I don’t think Santa is supposed to smoke,” I tell him.

“Sweetheart, Santa does a lot he’s not supposed to do,” he smirks and something about that look on his face makes my body heat.

“Whatever. You should make sure your boss doesn’t see you do that,” I mutter, annoyed because he’s making my traitorous body react when it shouldn’t.

“Santa has no boss.”

“God, can you drop the act? I’ve about had it with Christmas and the last thing I want to do is hear you tell me how you spend your days on the North Pole playing with your reindeer,” I huff.

“I make the elves stroke my reindeer horns actually,” he smirks. “What’s got your panties in a twist?”

“You mean besides being mowed over by a woman with a cart and ruining a pair of pantyhose and my favorite pair of heels?”

“Who was she? I’ll put her on the naughty list,” he asks and at this point I just shake my head.

Who is this guy?

“Will you give it a… What are you doing?” I feel my eyes grow big as I watch him get down on his haunches in front of me.

“I thought that was rather obvious. I’m checking your injury out,” he murmurs, ignoring my protest and pulling my leg up into his lap—despite me trying to pull it away.

I brace myself on the bench, because if I don’t, I’m going to end up falling to the ground. I try to kick at him, but he holds my leg firmly, not allowing the movement.

“Will you stop? I don’t know you! And besides that, this dress is too short. You’ll have me flashing half of New York.” My voice has risen by this point.

“Stop being dramatic. My body is completely blocking you.” He dismisses my objection and then he looks at me—really looks at me. His eyes bore into mine, and his hand on my leg becomes tighter, almost punishing in his hold. “Are you wearing panties?” he asks.

My body jerks in reaction. I should be repulsed. In fact, I should be panicking that a man I don’t know, a man dressed in a Santa suit, with a cigarette trapped between his lips and his big—huge really—ink-covered hand wrapped around my leg, is asking me if I’m wearing panties. What I should not be is turned on. And, if my damp panties are any indication… I am definitely turned on.

“You did not just ask that!” I cry out, desperately trying to pull away from him. I can’t be turned on by a stranger—a very weird, sexy as sin stranger. I cannot be talking about my panties with said stranger and most of all, I can’t spread my legs a little wider for him.

“Black… nice,” he says almost to himself, obviously having looked at my panties. I’m not sure how much he can see because of my pantyhose, but despite it all I feel my face heat, even though the air has a wintery chill to it. “Damn, honey, I’d say the shopping cart won your war,” he mumbles around his cigarette, yet somehow managing to make each word clear.

“Will you let go of my leg please?” I growl out, unable to pull away from his firm grip. I’m thinking that what I thought might be padding to fill out the Santa suit is actually just plain muscle. If his hands are anything to go by, he’s huge.

What is it they say about large hands again?

I squirm uncomfortably. I really shouldn’t be thinking about that at all.

Release Day Blitz - Under Siege by Aria Cole

Amazon

What happens when ten-foot-tall and bulletproof asks you to spend thirty days alone with him?
Tinsley Abernathy never thought she’d have to ask herself that question. And Ash Ford isn’t just any run-of-the-mill, drop-dead-gorgeous stranger, he’s the soldier she’s been exchanging letters with every week for the last three years. And now he’s back in town. And he’s ready to meet her.
After all, Ash has a proposition Tinsley would be crazy to refuse….
Warning: Ash is one sticky, sweet, military muscle-man in camo cargos. He’s set his sights on one woman only, and he won’t stop until her heart is Under Siege.

ONE
Tinsley
“Welcome home, dickhead!” A group of guys erupted into a round of cheers at the bar. My eyes slid across the polished wood table to land on my best friend’s.     “I think it’s time we hit the road.”      Lily huffed, sucking another strawful of her margarita. “Nonsense.” She swiped a hand as if to bat away the silly thought. “We just got here, and you have been talking to this guy for the last three years. I mean, you’ve ditched me for him on Saturday nights, writing those long love letters.”    “I told you, they weren’t love letters. We’re just friends.” The last letter I’d written him rattled through my mind--the one where everything in me had wanted to confess I was falling for him. Only I’d been a coward and scribbled the whole thing out. Now I was thinking my foresight was pretty keen--this group of guys looked like a bunch of wild college guys, certainly not a group my thoughtful, affectionate Ash would be friends with, right? The frown deepened on my face.    Lily huffed, taking another drink. “You should go talk to him, introduce yourself.”    “Yeah…” I glanced over at the crew at the bar. A dozen guys at least. Ash and I had never exchanged a photo while he was away, and we’d had a little vow that we wouldn’t look each other up on social media. I’d kept it, but I wasn’t sure if he had.      I frowned, watching a shorter guy get a round of shots for everyone. “I don’t really care which one he is, to be honest. I don’t think any of them are my type.”    “Well, he was your type for three years when you were writing back and forth every week.”    “Was…” I gnawed down on my bottom lip, thinking I’d made a giant mistake even coming here tonight. Ash and I should have left well enough alone, pen pals while he was deployed with  the navy overseas and nothing more. “I vote we head home and start the next season of Pretty Little Liars.”    “Well…” Lily arched one perfectly manicured brow at me. “I vote you swallow down the rest of that drink while I get us another round.”    I was still shaking my head when she rose from the table, finishing her drink with a wink and then scurrying off to the bar.      I rolled my eyes inwardly, sucking on the end of my straw and wishing Lily and I were curled up on the couch right now with pints of Ben & Jerry’s in hand. I had a feeling Lily wasn’t going to let me off the hook that easily, though. We’d been living together for more than two years now; she’d seen the letters from overseas coming fast and furious. I think she was as nervous and excited about this night as I was.      I groaned, sucking down the last of my drink before standing to make my way to the bathroom. A hard mass of muscle brushed by just as I stepped off the elevated platform. I stumbled, losing my footing and heading for a face-plant on the floor.      “Shit, sorry ’bout that.” A heavy palm wrapped around my elbow and caught me in a graceful spin. Hauled against the chest of one very tall, broad monster of a man, I steadied myself on slabs of pectoral. Lightning sparked through my veins, racing to my toes as I inhaled a quick scent of woodsy cologne. The smell was so hypnotizing that my head began to spin with pure intoxication.          “You okay, Freckles?” Ice-blue eyes caught mine, the hint of a cocky grin playing at the side of his mouth.      “I’m fine. Thanks for catching me.” I pulled away. His palm didn’t leave my elbow, though, like he was following me, insisting on invading my space. “It looked dire for a second there. Thank you,” I whispered, both embarrassed and shy about the situation.    “Pleasure’s all mine.” Those ocean eyes trailed across my face, down my neck, and hovered at the vee of my cleavage. My body prickled with desire under this stranger’s gaze. Sparks burned through my fingertips and hardened my nipples, a slow ache beating like a drum on my nerves. “You here for the party?” His deep yet soft voice reverberated through my body, somehow making me feel that this was the voice I was meant to hear for the rest of my life.    I sucked on my bottom lip, wishing instantly I could disappear. Melt into the floor at his feet. Something about the way he held himself, the look in his eyes as he watched me, made it impossible for my body to ignore. My thighs shifted, and I swallowed the bundle of nerves choking my throat. “I was supposed to meet someone.”    I averted my eyes, not really wanting to explain my circumstances for being there at that moment. “Well, I'm someone.” He thrust out his hand, cocky smile deepening. “Name’s Ash.”    My heart thundered to a halt.      Just like that, the world spun on its axis, and I was left heaving for oxygen and desperate for words.      “Got a name, Freckles?” Ash clasped my hand in his, yanking me against him.      This was it.      This was the part where I confessed my name. That I was Tinsley, the Tinsley he’d been writing for the last three years. I owed it to him to be open.      My lips parted, the words on my tongue, before something else slipped out altogether. “Freckles has a nice ring to it.”    His gaze jumped from my eyes to my lips. I sucked in a slow breath, his hand tightening at my elbow and hauling me infinitely closer.      “I think so too.” His warm breath washed across my neck, sending chills racing through me.      I had to contain the moan from slipping past my lips.      This man had that thing about him. That thing that drew women to him like honey, and I’d been a fool to think that just because we had three years of letters behind us, we could be anything in real life. Ash was out of my league. I should have picked up on that when he talked about fun-filled vacations with friends and wild parties, but I hadn’t given it much thought because it didn’t matter then.      It mattered now, though.     A dead weight settled on my shoulders then. He and I were worlds apart, probably never even would have crossed each other's paths if it weren’t for me reaching out to the military pen pals charity a few years ago.      He was in a desperate time. We were both looking for friendship…    “Hey, Tins! I told him to make yours a double.” Lily chose that moment to burst the small bubble we’d created.    “Tins?” Ash arched an eyebrow with interest. “That short for anything?”      He knew.    Shit, he totally knew.      “Uh…” Lily pushed my new drink at me. “I’m Lily, and you are?”      “Ash Ford.” He thrust a hand out and shook Lily’s hand, those icy-blue orbs glued to mine the entire time.      Lily’s eyes grew to the size of saucers. “So, you’re the man of the hour?”    Ash’s eyebrows rose. “’Spose so.”    “And which one of those fine gentlemen behind you might be willing to buy a girl a drink?” Lily cooed. The realization set in that she was leaving me alone, with Ash, now that she knew who he was.      “Go introduce yourself. Sure you won’t be short on offers,” Ash said.     “Don’t mind if I do.” Lily’s eyes gleamed as she cast me a glance, leaning in to mouth the words, “He’s gorgeous. I’d climb him like a tree if I were you.” I nearly spat out my drink. “Wish me luck!” she called as she sauntered away.      “So,” Ash breathed. “Tins or Freckles, what should I call you?”     I narrowed my gaze at him. The way his eyes did that gleaming thing, making my panties wet and my knees weak, was irritating as hell.      “Nothing to you.” I steeled my spine, setting my drink on the table and making to dash around him and get the hell out of here.    I was in over my head. Dating wasn’t my thing, ever, and this guy was all sorts of intimidating.  I could hardly get a word in; my brain swam with so many thoughts of feeling his body pressed to mine again.      And to think this beautiful, cocky bastard was Ash Ford.      The man I’d unloaded all of my past, dreams, and hopes onto.    “Excuse me.” I barely managed the whisper, defeat lacing my tone as I turned away.      But Ash Ford wasn’t about to make walking away easy.

Cover Reveal - Bad Dad by Sloane Howell

cover reveal.JPG

AP new - synopsis.jpg

My son is my life. Nothing on earth matters but him.

Soon, I’ll have to send him out into society. The cruel machine that gnashes innocence and spits out the hollowed remains of a child’s imagination. It’s a place I know all too well, considering my past. I’ve worked hard to separate myself from it, but it looms in the back of my mind—waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

My son, Logan, wants to have birthday parties, make friends, play at the park—all the normal things that seven-year olds want to do. All the things I want to do with him.

I’ve put up walls around our life to shield us from danger. Giant barriers to ward off possible threats.

Cora Chapman crashes through them like a wrecking ball. She’s intelligent and hilarious with soft curves and a spark that ignites a flame deep inside of me.

There’s only one problem—she’s Logan’s teacher.

When my past wraps its tentacles around my throat and threatens to strangle the breath from my lungs, I’m given an option—fight for my family’s freedom, or die as they’re stripped away from me.

Vaping Could Save MILLIONS of Lives

And the vaping world gets great news from George Town University Medical Center and I wanted to share some of the findings from their research with our readers today!  Please note that this is taking from their findings, and you can read the entire research article by clicking on the link above.

"TOBACCO SMOKERS COULD GAIN 86 MILLION YEARS OF LIFE IF THEY SWITCH TO VAPING, STUDY FINDS"

"Up to 6.6 million cigarette smokers will live substantially longer if cigarette smoking is replaced by vaping over a ten-year period, calculates a research team led by investigators from Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. In all, cigarette smokers who switch to e-cigarettes could live 86.7 million more years with policies that encourage cigarette smokers to switch completely to e-cigarettes."

This study encourages people smoking to switch to vaping electronic cigarettes to improve their health.  It gives two scenarios and in both pessimistic and optimistic they state “Even the gloomiest analysis shows a significant gain in years of life if nicotine is obtained from vaping instead of much more deadly amount of toxicants inhaled with cigarette smoke.”

The National Institutes of Health funded the study, which involved scientists from multiple universities and research groups. No industry funds were used. The models used in the study were developed by Levy and co-authors Rafael Meza, PhD, from the University of Michigan and Theodore R. Holford, PhD, from Yale University.

This is a huge boon for the vaping industry as a whole, and I personally wanted to share my thoughts on the positive vibe of the research and say that the facts are coming in.  Vaping is the answer to the millions of deaths caused by combustible cigarettes, and no matter what spin the fake news puts on vaping, they can't deny it's inherently safer than smoking.  Those are facts.  Not one scientific study has been able to prove that vaping is not a better choice for smokers.  They've spread fear mongering by saying eliquids contain formaldehyde and antifreeze, both proven false!  Lying and saying vaping causes Popcorn lung which is a blatant lie and not one single case of Popcorn Lung has been found in a vaper (or for that matter a smoker which by the way contains 100% more diacetyl than eliquid for the record).

Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I've found no reasonable explanation for the attempt of politicians, and health organizations to be so against vaping when they don't have one shred of proof that it is more dangerous than smoking, outside of lining their pockets with Big Tobacco money or pharmaceutical products like nicotine patches and failed cessation tools.  Follow the money behind the biggest opposers to vaping and you'll see a link to big tobacco or pharmaceutical products that they are backing.  It really is that simple, folks.  They don't care if you die as long as they don't lose money or the agenda they are pushing.  Sadly that's a fact!

I encourage you to check out the background of EVERY single politician or healthcare orginization that is against vaping and find the real truth.  It's sickening how they would rather destroy vaping on their lies then admit the solution to the smoking epidemic is turning these smokers to vaping.  Look to see who is paying them off, who they are affiliated with and if you find someone not making a profit from lying about vaping, I dare you to share it here because you aren't going to find one!  That's a fact.

Let me add my own personal fact to this article.  Diagnosed with COPD (lung capacity of 68%) in January of 2015 after smoking two packs of cigarettes a day for 25+ years.  June 2017 after years of vaping my lung capacity is 96% and my health has significantly improved.  I have proof from pulmonary function tests to back that up.  Where is there proof that it harms you?  Good luck finding it because all they have are lies that are being debunked every day.  As my granny used to say, use your head for something other than a pin cushion!  In other words, RESEARCH and don't let the lies continue. Thanks for joining us at Tears of Crimson.
