The Cover Reveal is Coming.....

My cover reveal is almost here.  To say I'm freaking out, is an understatement. I'm wigging out beyond belief.

But I wrote something that I, myself, would pick up and read. I've plotted this baby, edited this baby, sent to beta readers and hired content editors and copy editors.

And soon enough, it's going to make it's debut.

Cover reveal signups are up from my awesome marketing people Wordsmith Publicity.
Bloggers sign up is below

Pay it Forward

And so,
My Love Philip Campaign in terms of how much I raised was an epic fail. As in fall flat on your face, nose hitting the concrete, real hard, FAIL.  I had over ten well known authors, NY Times Best Seller's list authors, donate books so that I can raise money for the Red Cross Typhoon Relief.

I raised $70 of which $60 was from my made up name and from family members who doesn't even read romance.

I tried. I really did try. I emailed every big blogger under the sun, contacted various...

A Nobody trying to make a difference

Nobody knows me.  I'm a nobody in the big world of writing.  I put out a question on twitter about writing and no one answers me. I try to join every online romance group but nobody, not one person answers my question but they answer everyone else's.  I even email my RWA Chicago North group but nobody responds. I don't blame them.  I don't engage. I don't come to meetings and I don't show my face because I haven't been able to make it.  I go straight home after work t...

Bringing readers and writers together for a good cause...

It's all over the news. It's all over the newspapers. Typhoon Kaiyan hits Tacloban, Philippines.
Every article has the same theme.
No food.
No water.
People without homes.
People dead.
Ultimate devastation.

Philippines Red Cross shares “We have bodies in the water, bodies on the bridges, bodies on the side of the road.”

Seriously, all I can think is please please help them God.

I'm Filipino American, filipino by descent and born in America. Therefore, the Philippines has a very special place in...

Players gotta Play and Writers gotta Write

I try to write everyday to improve the craft.  This journey has been an ongoing learning process for me and I've had a hoot hoot doing it.

I read books to write better.
I read blogs to write better.
I take writing classes to improve my writing.
Even rejections contribute to my journey of writing.

So for Fun Friday, I've decided to post another homework assignment from my creative writing class online and honestly, this class is so much fun!

Start with this title: The Window
Then, using this tit...

New Born Baby...

I'm taking another writing class this semester. I'm taking this creative writing class to improve my writing style and to improve the craft. Here is this week's assignment.  I enjoyed it very much therefore I'm posting it.

Assignment #3 - Due Before 11/5Make a list of five things you hate. These can be grand things, such as world leaders who lie, or these can be relatively minor things, such as carpet. Try to include one or two “hates” that no one else is likely to think of. Feel free to...

Nanowrimo!

It's Nanowrimo month which stands for National Novel Writing Month.  This is where writers try to complete 50,000 words within one month.

This is my first time participating and boy am I excited. I'm not sure if I can do it though but I surely will try.

Life is super hectic now with working full time, editing my first manuscript and writing my 2nd and to top it off I'm in a creative writing class and also there's obligations at home... AHHHH....
When do I have time to do this, do you ask?  Well...
