Global Caring

Thankfulness

A poem for our times:

Generous opening to peoples afar,
Requests for notice and hopes for aid,
Caring for others outside one’s reach,
The global family cries.

Crises afar are often for leaders.
The citizen feels unable to respond.
Cries for help and cries for surrender,
The global family waits.

Regular people hurting and cowering,
Pestilence, weather, famine, or sword,
Global residents watch with worry,
The global family mum.

Can we care for peoples afar?
Can we answer their requests for rel...

Sleeping with the Nanny

oops

Another headline blares the news that a celebrity couple is divorcing because the husband slept with the nanny.

What does Spiritual Presence have to say about this situation? (I was curious, and so I asked.)

Close proximity triggers hormonal activity. That is why coworkers pair up and the frolickers at parties hook up. The hormonal activity creates desire. The situation in which a household welcomes a nanny into its midst is a fluctuating arrangement in which hormonal messaging misdirects.

W...

Me, Myself, & I: Three poems, three views

Poem-Me Myself I

Here is the first of three poems from the bookConnection—A Collection of Wisdom Poetry in the section “Connection to Myself”:

!!Me!!

Me, myself, and I.

The same and yet different.

Me is the part that is
usually unsure and needing assurance.

The part that wants
to be noticed but missed.

The part that cautiously advances
yet jumps at the opportunity
to experience change.

The part that sees the needs of others
and holds back.

The part that sees the needs of me
and holds back.

The part that crav...

What a dream can tell

Dream-ava

My friend Ava Carmel, dreamer of universal dreams, shared a dream this evening at ourdance class. This was her dream:

Ava was in a place outside with seven other people, and they were standing around in a loose circle. One of the men slowly walked towards a place that was full of mud and stepped into it. The mud gradually pulled him in until his body could no longer be seen. The other people were watching the entire time. The man then emerged from the mud and his movements were very violent....

A play about zoo animals from the viewpoint of the animals

Animals in a zoo

I was asked why I wrote a play about zoo animals.

The lives of animals in a zoo and petting zoo are not usually the focus of entertainment, so a play is a good medium for sharing how animals feel. We look at animals when we visit a zoo and we may wonder about their lives, but we don’t know how they feel–until we read or watch this play. As with all my Energy Guidance Complete writing, I was directed to write Zoo Conversations so that is why I wrote it.

Here’s what the (human) Narrator has to...

A wisdom poem sharing spiritual connection: “Faith”

Cover-Faith

I have previouslypublished two books of wisdom poetry: “Unfolding” and “Connection“. As described in both of these books, a wisdom poem “…is a poem that is dictated directly from Spiritual Presence. Each poem shares/provides/shouts a message. Each message can lead to connection and balance.”

A new book has come through me, Faith— A Wisdom Poem Sharing Spiritual Connection, and this book consists of a single poem that directs the reader towards spiritual connection. Spiritual connection is en...
