Somebody explain to me what they mean when they say a book is "generous?" If they mean what I think they mean, then I'm staying away from those ones.

Mr. Asp has got us thinking about Dock Ellis today; you know, he pitched a no-hitter for the Pirates while high on LSD. I first head about Dock from a Barbara Manning song about him.
