Wordless Wednesday #58

The sun rises irrelevant to the condition of the sky.

Result?

The clouds gradually clear off, and make way for this star.

My 2 cents
We ought to learn to keep rowing our boat in a storm or calm weather; we will find the harbor.

Mantra for today: Keep those oars ready 24*7. They will help propel you out of all kinds of situations.

The strange weather

The wind was hustling furiously and made her windows bang loudly.

"Aha! this storm can make anyone create wrinkles out of fear" Myla chuckled as she was quickly closing the framework with panes.

Just when everything was securely tight, there was peace everywhere.

She was amazed at the intense weather and went outside to check upon the skies.

Just then a strong lightning fell upon her; she

Review and Spotlight on Against all Rules by Summerita Rhayne

Against All Rules

The efficient PA out of her depth…
Samara knows getting attracted to Tahir is like asking for trouble. Not only is he her boss but he’s got divorced recently and has sworn off any commitment. Short term is not on her list but temptation has never been stronger.
The man who doesn’t have faith in rainbows anymore…

Wordless Wednesday #57

When my plant was all dried up, I thought of putting the contents in the recycling bin. Just then a few days later, small shots of growth were visible.

Wonder how life sprung up when everything was dry and parched?

Mantra for today: Life is a mystery thus, never give up hope!

My Kind of Diwali Celebration

"Try this outfit. It will suit you" urged mom.

"Nah! its too dull. I am too young to be wearing such boring colors." I protested.

"Just try it. We are not buying," mom added with a slightly higher pitch.

The Mailman

Looking through the window, she stares at the path wondering if it will arrive as mentioned in the UPS tracking information.

Her feeble eyes look at the volume of the bottle, and she is in a dilemma  if she should take the last dose or leave it for a time that is crucial?

Ever since the insurance peaked up the prices for the drugs that she had been taking on a regular basis, she has been

When the heart aches after a change...

Change is a word that makes our earth spin around the sun, and we see dusk and dawn at every few hours interval. Thus, making none of us bored of the constant weather or the time.

Change is the language spoken when an infant turns into a toddler and eventually changes to a preteen then teen, which is followed by an adult and then growing old. This Change is inevitable, and we all have embraced

A charcoal drawing of a mother holding her baby!

Just a mere sketch, but speaks a thousand words that symbolize love, care, tenderness, and a yearning that never fades away!

Mantra for today: “A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will

Spotlight and Review of Collection of Chaos by Tikuli

Blurb:

(From the foreword by Kris Saknussemm) As with all the poets I most admire, words are living things for Tikuli. But as you will come to discover, they are never deployed for their own sake. She uses them to tell stories. The images, scenes, characters and fragments of visionary empathy that you will find in this book are all rooted in her

How much Education can make you a literate?

As the Learned say that, Education is one investment that will never go waste.

But, I wonder how much education is enough to make you a literate, and cultured enough to stand in a crowd and yet be confident of the decisions you made?

Although, man should be open to learning at any age, but should he be earning degree after degree to get the label of a wise man?
